19-year-old Italian skier Matilde Lorenzi died after a crash during a training session in northern Italy, the country's defense ministry announced on Tuesday. The "promising Italian skier" fell while skiing on the Grawand G1 slope in Val Senales, a valley in northern Italy’s South Tyrol province, the International Ski and Snowboard Federation said in a statement. One person was detained Sunday after three people died in a house fire in Temple City. Firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were sent to the home in the 6000 block of Sultana Avenue at around 4:50 p.m. and were able to knock down the fire in 30 minutes. Investors could win big with some of the companies reporting earnings this week that are trading below their fair valuations. About one-third of the S & P 500 , or 154 companies, as well as 10 companies in the Dow Jones Industrial Average , are due to report earnings this week. Oil prices tumbled more than $3 a barrel on Monday after Israel's retaliatory strike on Iran over the weekend bypassed Tehran's oil and nuclear facilities and did not disrupt energy supplies, easing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Both Brent and U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures hit their lowest levels since Oct. 1 at the open. The geopolitical risk premium that had built in oil prices in anticipation of Israel's retaliatory attack came off, analysts said. The Miami Heat revealed a statue of franchise legend and basketball Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade on Sunday, with the design of the statue immediately going viral and drawing some unwanted comparisons. The statue’s design – which depicts Johnson in various stages of pitching motion – is certainly unique. While the champion does get to take home some silverware, they also receive the distinction of seeing their likeness transformed into a terracotta statue.
