In what some analysts are calling the “show me the money” quarter, most of the major US tech titans will report earnings during Halloween week. “Tech companies have been spending billions on AI like kids in a candy store,” said David Laut, chief investment officer at Abound Financial. “Now investors want to see what they’re getting for their money.”Earnings season for tech got off to a strong start Wednesday evening when Tesla surprised Wall Street with better-than-expected earnings. The search for a woman who fell from a Taylor Swift-themed cruise ship in the Bahamas was suspended Wednesday, a day after she went into the water, officials said. The family was shocked and disappointed by the coddling of kids when they returned to the US. She was featured in "The Danish Secret to Happy Kids," a new book that champions Nordic parenting. It was a complete 180 from our experience in Denmark, where the kids understood to be careful. The children set the table and helped themselves from a big dish in the middle. But we're grateful we had the chance to raise our children in Denmark — at least for a while.
