Amazon will soon make prescription drugs fall from the sky when the e-commerce giant becomes the latest company to test drone deliveries for medications. The company's Prime Air division began testing drone deliveries of common household items last December in College Station and Lockeford, California. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos had predicted a decade ago that drones would be making deliveries by 2018. Walmart has also been working to expand its own drone deliveries. Amazon has been growing its presence in health care for a few years now.

Chipotle said it plans to keep 53 college-town stores open until midnight on Halloween. The chain said it is targeting college towns popular with Gen Z, a group that likes to eat late. But instead of going national with its late-night business, Chipotle is targeting "college towns that eat the most Chipotle," the chain announced Wednesday. The fresh-Mex chain, which has more than 3,250 restaurants, said 53 college towns will stay open until midnight on Halloween – a busy night for the brand. "Over the past two years, Chipotle has seen a 30 percent increase in transactions after 8 p.m. on Halloween and 81 percent of 18- to 26-year-olds surveyed reported wanting to see Chipotle open until midnight," the chain said.

The share of renters living with roommates grew by 5.9% while the share of renters living with family fell 4.5% between 2016 and 2021, RentCafe found. Salt Lake City takes the top spot with the fastest growth in solo renters from 2016 to 2021. It makes sense, then, that solo renters appear to prefer lower cost-of-living areas. Seven of the 10 cities RentCafe identified with the largest solo renter population growth from 2016 to 2021 are in the South.

Yet one of the enduring legacies of the COVID-era housing market may be the proliferation of bidding wars for rentals. Bidding wars have periodically reared their ugly heads during overheated stretches in New York City's housing market. And while things have cooled down since the mania of 2022, in places where available rental inventory remains low, the bidding wars just won't die. Still, it's hard not to worry that we've opened Pandora's box when it comes to bidding wars. Bidding wars may feel distasteful, embarrassing, and unfairly favor those with the means to drive up already exorbitant asking rents.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The latest search for the remains of victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre has ended with 59 graves found and seven sets of remains exhumed, according to Oklahoma state archaeologist Kary Stackelbeck. The excavation ended Friday, Stackelbeck said, and 57 of the 59 graves were unmarked and previously unknown. None of the remains found thus far have been confirmed as victims of the massacre. The robotic spacecraft OSIRIS-REx is scheduled to release the gumdrop-shaped capsule, transporting about a cup of gravelly asteroid material, at 6:42 a.m. EDT (1042 GMT) for a final descent to Earth, climaxing a seven-year voyage. The spacecraft departed Bennu in May 2021 for a 1.2-billion-mile (1.9-billion-km) cruise back to Earth, including two orbits around the sun. The Bennu sample is estimated at 250 grams (8.8 ounces), far surpassing the 5 grams of material carried back from Ryugu in 2020 or the tiny specimen delivered from asteroid Itokawa in 2010. Scientists hope the integrity of the capsule and inner cannister bearing the asteroid material will be maintained through re-entry and landing, keeping the sample pristine and free of any terrestrial contamination. The main portion of the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft, meanwhile, is expected to sail on to explore yet another near-Earth asteroid, named Apophis.
