Total revenue in its fiscal 2024 fourth quarter totaled $79.7 billion, missing analysts' expectations of $79.97 billion, according to estimates compiled by LSEG. Costco has succeeded for decades, but the high inflation of recent years has made the company's value-focused ethos really shine. Put it all together, we're increasing our price target on the stock to $950 a share from $875. In the quarter, Costco's membership renewal rate in the U.S. and Canada came in at 92.9%, a tick lower than the 93% rate observed in the third fiscal quarter, while worldwide held constant at 90.5%.

The Chinese central bank's largest stimulus measures since Covid should provide the world's second-largest economy with a much-needed boost, which should help our portfolio companies doing business there. The Club has a broad range of companies with significant sales exposure to China, and some with none. The de minimis exemption has allowed Chinese e-commerce giants, particularly low-cost Temu and Shein, to flourish. Almost everyone else seems to want to deploy AI in some meaningful way but don't seem to know how. It's available on HP 's AI personal computers right now but hasn't really attracted a lot of interest yet — good for Club company Best Buy 's forward earnings. For some companies, companies like CVS , this is a no brainer. One that can build things or get things or just give you a cup of your coffee. A long road It's been a long and winding road for Waymo since its inception in 2009 as Google's self-driving car project. The robotaxi service now has about 700 autonomous vehicles on the road across its markets. That changed about a year ago , when Uber added Waymo vehicles to its app. In February, Waymo recalled 444 of its vehicles after two Waymo vehicles hit a towed pickup truck in Phoenix.
