The months-long program intends to cover language training, flight training, and conversion to the F-16 platform, according to an undated copy of the F-16 training concept that Insider obtained from the Danish defense ministry. The document also hints that Ukraine might get its hands on other fighter jets at some point. It's not immediately clear which fighter aircraft the statement is referencing, but one aircraft that the Ukrainians have been eyeing is Sweden's JAS 39 Gripen. However, the jet is operated by just six countries — only two of which support Ukraine with military aid (Sweden and the Czech Republic) — and has not yet seen combat experience.

The highest average attendance at a Women's World Cup was 37,218 in China in 2007, where 16 teams played 32 matches - half the number being played in Australia and New Zealand. The smallest crowd was the 6,992 at Dunedin Stadium in New Zealand for Japan's 2-0 opening win over Costa Rica on July 26. The tournament has already set a record for ticket sales at a Women's World Cup.

The shareholders, which include several investment firms and pension funds, have filed separate lawsuits with a Swedish court but their actions are coordinated, the paper reported. According to Dagens Industri, the shareholders are demanding compensation for the 33% fall in value in Ericsson shares between Feb. 16, 2022, and March 2. On Feb. 15, 2022, Ericsson CEO Boerje Ekholm had talked to Dagens Industri about an internal, and until then, secret report about the company's activities in Iraq, the paper said in a published interview.

In the first seven months of 2023, Volvo sold 395,856 cars globally, a rise of 18% compared with the same period of 2022, led by soaring demand for fully-electric or plug-in-hybrid models. The manufacturer, which is majority-owned by China's Geely (0175.HK), said it sold 64,764 fully-electric cars year-to-date, up from 23,803 in the year-ago period. Shares in the company were up 0.4% at 0714 GMT, outperforming a 0.5% drop in Stockholm's benchmark index (.OMXS30).
