CNN —LIV Golf’s Sergio Garcia is set to return to the DP World Tour next year, opening up the possibility of him making a record-equaling 11th appearance at the Ryder Cup. CNN —An anonymous male celebrity says he is the victim of an extortion scheme and is suing a high-powered Texas attorney who is representing several people in civil lawsuits that accuse Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault. Buzbee has said he is representing at least 120 alleged victims of Combs. The lawsuit filed by the anonymous celebrity claims that Buzbee’s firm is trying to capitalize off the “explosive allegations against Sean Combs” by roping in public figures who have been acquainted with Combs. In an interview with CNN last month, Buzbee explained that his firm initially files cases anonymously in an effort to protect the safety of his clients. “It is a cynical extortion scheme that is dressed up in vindicating victims of actual sexual abuse,” the lawsuit states.

But even with Trump’s gains among men, women still had greater leverage to decide the election’s outcome. Both the exit polls and VoteCast showed her winning 57% of white women with at least a four-year college degree. Solid majorities of Black, Latina and college-educated White women described Trump in the exit poll as “too extreme,” as did over two-fifths of the White women without a college degree. But among the White women without a college degree who described Trump as “too extreme,” almost 1 in 5 voted for him anyway. Though many women are expressing unease about mass deportation, Trump’s claim that immigrants are driving crime may provide him considerable leeway to pursue his agenda, particularly among the blue-collar White women who proved most receptive to that argument.

The narrative from Silicon Valley is that the AI train has left the station and any smart investor had better hop on before these products become “superintelligent” and start solving all the world’s problems. Now, some of the leading language models appear to be hitting a wall, according to at least three reports last week.
