The U.S. has long supported Israel with intelligence and that support could continue during Israel’s retaliatory strikes against Iran, the two officials said. Senior U.S. military officials have also discussed conducting very limited strikes against Iranian targets, the two officials said. CNN —The Justice Department announced charges Tuesday against an Afghan national who was allegedly plotting a terrorist attack in support of ISIS on Election Day in the United States. The juvenile has also been arrested, according to court documents. The indictment comes as the Justice Department has publicly – and repeatedly – said its focus is on protecting the November presidential election from foreign threats. Tawhedi’s alleged plot, which prosecutors say was aimed at targeting “large gatherings of people,” was foiled less than a month before voters head to the polls. Both Musk and America PAC have vocally encouraged swing-state voter registration ahead of the mandatory deadlines. Over the weekend, X repurposed the account handle “@america,” which used to belong to a different account, for Musk’s America PAC. The account has since promoted the pro-Constitution petition, swing-state voter registration and the $47 offer.
