A conspiracy theory surrounding Nvidia has made the rounds on social media, and a Wall Street firm is having none of it. Bernstein debunked the baseless theory that CoreWeave is a shell company driving much of Nvidia's recent growth. Get the inside scoop on today’s biggest stories in business, from Wall Street to Silicon Valley — delivered daily. And while Nvidia did buy a stake in CoreWeave, it also invested in 10 other AI startups so far this year. He reiterated his "Outperform" rating on Nvidia with a $675 price target, representing potential upside of 46% from current levels.

Much of the drama in the charming new Netflix teen comedy “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah” revolves around the pitfalls of social media, specifically the public sharing of private videos. A mild spoiler: Stacy completes the jump without injury and to great applause, until her maxi pad floats up next to her and the applause dissolves into laughter. A humiliation like this used to be confined to the memory of the kids who witnessed it, and at worst, it became local lore. They’re 10 and 7 and I don’t allow them to use social media yet, and I feel some comfort having equipped them with as much information as I can about the digital world. I’m not naïve and I don’t think they’re perfect angels — I know they’ll make mistakes, but hopefully they have enough foresight and knowledge that their errors aren’t catastrophic ones.

Until last month, Qualcomm was also the world's biggest fabless chip company. But Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon is betting that one day, generative AI will be in high demand off the cloud, too. Qualcomm modems are inside all iPhone models currently being made, including the next model set to come out next week. Today, Qualcomm has more than 140,000 patents. The other lawsuit came from Apple, which sued Qualcomm for roughly $1 billion for charging royalties for technologies Apple said Qualcomm had "nothing to do with."

This spring, Clive Kabatznik, an investor in Florida, called his local Bank of America representative to discuss a big money transfer he was planning to make. Rather, a software program had artificially generated his voice and tried to trick the banker into moving the money elsewhere. Mr. Kabatznik and his banker were the targets of a cutting-edge scam attempt that has grabbed the attention of cybersecurity experts: the use of artificial intelligence to generate voice deepfakes, or vocal renditions that mimic real people’s voices. The problem is still new enough that there is no comprehensive accounting of how often it happens. Another large voice authentication vendor, Nuance, saw its first successful deepfake attack on a financial services client late last year.

Analyst Stacy Rasgon downgraded shares to underperform from market perform. He maintained his price target of $145, which implies 15% downside from Tuesday's close. Rasgon cited concerns around the company's long-term strategy for the downgrade, which consists of greater in-house chip production. "We wish we could all have a 15-year investment horizon," Rasgon said in a Wednesday note. "We aren't suggesting TXN's strategy is 'wrong' or 'bad,' they just have a longer investment horizon than most other companies.

Nvidia's shares rose to $510.14 in premarket trading, set to surpass a record high of $481.87 hit earlier this week. That represents another three-fold increase in the stock's value from current levels. Elsewhere, shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) (2330.TW), which supplies to Nvidia, rose 2.2%. A lot rested on Nvidia posting strong results, as most of the S&P 500's over 15% year-to-date gains have come from the AI-driven rally in Nvidia and other Big Tech stocks. Investing.com analyst Thomas Monteiro said Nvidia's results validated "the narrative that has been propping tech stocks in general this year."

The best pieces of advice are about your money mindset, automating your savings, and paying yourself first. I have heard tons of financial advice, but I've found that the best advice, and the insight that really resonates across the board, pertains to everyday money management. Money scripts are beliefs that we have around money and they influence how we handle money. CNN —The makers of Spam, saying that their “special relationship with the Hawaiian community spans decades,” have donated over 264,000 cans to aid the disaster-relief efforts on Maui, the company said in a press release. “Three truckloads of Spam products are on their way to the impacted areas with two more trucks following,” Hormel Foods, the company that owns Spam, said. It’s stacked on a block of rice and wrapped in seaweed to make Spam musubi, and sold at fast-food chains like McDonald’s in Hawaii. Hormel Foods said it has also developed a “Spam Brand loves Maui” t-shirt, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Aloha United Way’s Maui Fire Relief Fund. Spam was first introduced to Asia-Pacific during World War II, a welcome substitute to meat that was increasingly becoming unaffordable or simply unavailable in the conflict-wracked region.

The company disappointed investors on Wednesday with a current-quarter revenue forecast that was below market estimates, as well as adjusted sales that missed expectations.
