Disney parks are adding a top-tier, line-skipping upgrade with a whole new world of pricing: as much as $449 per person on top of park admission, Walt Disney Co. said Wednesday. The two existing Lightning Lane passes require holders to commit to estimated time windows for specific attractions. Tokyo Disney Resort's Premier Access passes work like the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Disney World tickets start at $119 for single-day admission and are $104 for one of the Disneyland Resort parks, according to the park websites. The Premier Pass pilot program is among Disney Parks' priciest upgrades or ticket packages.

But certain accounts inherited since 2020 are subject to the "10-year rule," meaning IRAs must be empty by the 10th year following the original account owner's death. The rule applies to heirs who are not a spouse, minor child, disabled, chronically ill or certain trusts. Since then, there's been confusion about whether the heirs subject to the 10-year rule needed to take yearly withdrawals, known as required minimum distributions, or RMDs. After years of waived penalties, the IRS in July confirmed certain heirs will need to begin yearly RMDs from inherited accounts starting in 2025.

My family of six spent $2,677 for a day at Disneyland and $1,990 for a day at Universal Studios. AdvertisementBoth parks provide great entertainment, but Universal has one show Disney can't compete with"WaterWorld" blew our family away. Our Universal line-skipping passes had a steeper price tag at $600 compared to the $180 we paid for Disney's equivalent service. Even so, our Universal tickets still cost about $200 less than the Disney ones. The biggest worry for allocators to hedge funds is crowding, according to a new Bank of America survey. AdvertisementAllocators are growing more worried about crowding at hedge funds. The survey — which spoke to 160 allocators with roughly $680 billion invested in around 4,300 hedge funds globally — found that the biggest hedge fund managers in the industry are still gobbling assets and market share despite their investors bickering about costs. This flavor of hedge fund brought in $10 billion in net flows in 2024's first six months, and the average multimanager firm runs $1.7 billion. Despite this, allocators, paradoxically, have grown even more concerned about crowding risks in their hedge fund portfolios.
