The Department of Transportation says the final federal rule requiring that airlines dole out refunds — not vouchers — went into effect Monday. “Today, our automatic refund rule goes into full effect,” Buttigieg posted. A federal judge on Friday granted a Department of Justice request to block Virginia from systematically removing alleged noncitizens from the voter rolls this close to an election. "All of the eligible voters who were wrongfully purged from the voter rolls will now be able to cast their ballots," Snow said. The Justice Department said in a previous filing that 43 people removed from rolls in Prince William County were likely U.S. citizens. States are barred from systematically removing people from voters rolls within 90 days of an election under the National Voter Registration Act.
