New York CNNBusiness —Billionaire philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has filed for divorce from her second husband after less than two years of marriage. Scott, one of the world’s richest people, married Seattle-based science teacher Dan Jewett last year after divorcing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in 2019. Scott filed a petition for divorce in the King County Superior Court in Washington State on Monday, according to the Court clerk’s office. The news was first reported by The New York Times on Wednesday. Scott has given away billions of dollars as part of a plan to donate a majority of her fortune.

New York CNN —Walmart (WMT) has entered the metaverse. The retail giant announced Monday it is launching two immersive online experiences with Roblox, a metaverse mega-platform extremely popular with young kids. Its virtual dressing room offers products such as afp4, Halsey’s makeup brand, and YouTubers Brooklyn and Bailey’s skincare line with Walmart. Roblox began trading last March, immediately valuing the company at $45 billion when it debuted on Wall Street. Despite the buzz around the metaverse, Roblox shares have dropped almost 64% year-to-date.
CNN —A newly-unredacted document alleging an “uncorrected culture of sexual assault and harassment” at investment bank Goldman Sachs states that at least 75 incidents of alleged sexual assault and harassment were reported between 2000 and 2011. The document is part of an ongoing gender discrimination lawsuit against the investment bank that dates back to 2010.
