Greater China is a key market for Apple, with new AI features expected to roll out in April. It also rolled out its highly-anticipated Apple Intelligence software in the US in English on Monday. While consumers may be buying the newest iPhones in Greater China, they'll have to wait until April for Apple Intelligence to launch in Chinese, however. However, competition is stiff, and Apple Intelligence still needs time to prove itself. It'll take months to know for certain if AI can move the needle for Apple in Greater China.

North Korea fighting alongside Russia would be a serious escalation to the Ukraine war. Experts criticized a lack of decisive Western strategy in countering the threat. AdvertisementWestern allies have options to react to the threat of North Korean troops in Russia, but are hamstrung by fears of escalation, military experts told Business Insider. The fact that now a serious escalation looks possible thanks to North Korea is an indication of the failure of that policy, Hunter told BI. Western states are likely to have been quietly hoping that China might step in diplomatically and dissuade North Korea, Hunter said.

It is clear what Russia stands to gain from an influx of some 10,000 North Korean troops to aid its war in Ukraine. North Korean troops are expected to help with that. North Korea, for its part, needs a partner that will shield it from the United Nations Security Council as it pursues its nuclear ambitions. “North Korea is trying to get as many benefits as it can from this relationship,” said Edward Howell, an expert on North Korea at the Chatham House think tank. “If thousands of North Korean troops learn how to survive on a battlefield full of drones,” Gabuev said, “that is a lesser problem than North Korea having quieter nuclear-capable submarines.

For example, according to a recent McKinsey study, Black Americans are 10% more likely to be working jobs slated for AI automation. If current trends hold, the new wealth created by GenAI alone will increase the racial wealth gap by $43 billion annually, according to McKinsey. That begins with infrastructure that supports AI enablement for all, including education on AI tools, access to the internet and power to compute. SFI has been working hard to close the digital divide in Black communities, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), 82% of which reside in broadband deserts. Angelo was paid by a Democratic political action committee for the post, a fact that’s clearly noted in the caption. Campaigning moves to social mediaIn 2024, political content posted by social media creators has become just as important as traditional celebrity endorsements — if not more. Together, the two organizations paid 15 social media creators to produce content encouraging Latinos to vote. Election advertisements are overseen by a different agency, the Federal Elections Commission, which lacks a similar disclosure rule for individuals who are paid to make endorsements on social media. Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has since 2020 allowed paid political content from influencers, so long as the organization paying for it is registered in its ad library.

Adidas has reached an out-of-court settlement with rapper Ye to end all legal proceedings between them, the sportswear brand said on Tuesday, adding that no money changed hands in the agreement. Adidas and Ye had been embroiled in multiple lawsuits for the past two years since the German company ended a partnership with the rapper previously known as Kanye West over antisemitic comments he made. "There isn't any more open issues, and there is no... money going either way, and we both move on," CEO Bjorn Gulden told reporters on a conference call, declining to give further details of the deal. "There were tensions on many issues, and... when you put the claims on the right side and you put the claims on the left side, both parties said we don't need to fight anymore and withdrew all the claims," Gulden added.
