CNN —The New York Yankees clinched an American League Championship Series (ALCS) spot on Thursday night with a 3-1 win over the Kansas City Royals which saw them take the American League Division Series (ALDS) by the same score. Starter Gerrit Cole was the game’s dominant force, giving up just one run and six hits across seven innings, striking out four. The victory sees New York advance to the 19th Championship Series in its history, four more than any other franchise. Kansas City, meanwhile, has now lost its last nine games at Kauffman Stadium. On the surface, it seems easy to pinpoint what attracts our young men to manfluencers. That is the true draw to our young men, a place where they are the elite and above others. Since teenagers can be hard to meet head-on, try connecting with sons by praising them to others and through communication. We can lead our sons past the false trappings of fancy cars and money, and the cruelty perpetuated by these manfluencers.

But two more Butker field goals rebuilt Kansas City’s lead before another Saints TD once again made it a three-point game. In a fact-bending blast of disinformation, the former president is charging Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden’s White House of the very transgressions of which he stands accused. This is false, but Trump, while president, did repurpose FEMA funds to help finance his hardline immigration policies. But in retrospect, the charade featuring his first White House press secretary Sean Spicer was a harbinger of an administration that bucked fact as an instrument of political power. Trump voters respond to his populism and his evisceration of elites and many sincerely believe he’s a response to a march to the left by the Democratic Party. Both Trump and Harris, who are deadlocked in the polls, are chasing voters who may not habitually follow politics.

White-collar criminals who can't disconnect are spending thousands of dollars on prison cellphones. Contraband phones go for $1,000 or as little as a few hundred dollars, depending on supply, at minimum-security camps, the so-called Club Feds. The stakes are particularly high for Wilson; his office continues to prosecute a violent, 90-defendant drug ring run by imprisoned people using contraband cellphones. The bureau urges Congress to pass the Lieutenant Osvaldo Albarati Stopping Prison Contraband Act, which would upgrade the charge of smuggling contraband cellphones into a Federal prison from a misdemeanor offense to a felony, Murphy said. White-collar criminals tend to put their contraband phones to more benign uses.
