The research from KnowTheChain, an organization focused on forced labor in supply chains, analyzed 65 companies for exposure to forced labor risk. Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, KnowTheChain said companies scored on average 21/100. "They remain largely reactive to human rights violations, rather than evidencing robust, embedded human rights and environmental due diligence practices designed to prevent them," it added. "As such, it demonstrates that a corporate strategy which embeds human rights due diligence does not have to come at the cost of long-term sustainable growth or investor returns."

PARIS (AP) — It was Wild West meets melting pot America at the Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2024 men’s show Tuesday, where musician-turned-designer Pharrell Williams unveiled his highly-anticipated sophomore collection. The show, set against the dramatic silhouette of the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, masterfully channeled Americana, with Native American designs mixing with modern luxury and showcasing Williams’ unique vision for the powerhouse. "Pharrell wanted to bring out the Native American spirit, (...) he wanted to showcase we’re still here, we’re still resilient,” Rebecca Brady, 54, a Native American from New Town, North Dakota, told The Associated Press. The atmosphere was further charged with performances by Mumford & Sons and artists from the Native American nations. Williams' performance demonstrated his artistic versatility and highlighted the unique energy he brings to the Louis Vuitton brand.

NEW YORK (AP) — Television's finest brought the silver carpet alive in color, vying with a sea of black, on Monday at the strike-delayed 75th Emmy Awards, including a 3D-molded black look for Ayo Edebiri and sparkly chartreuse for Rhea Seehorn. Edebiri of “The Bear” walked in a strapless custom gown from Louis Vuitton. Quinta Brunson, another fashion standout, wore dainty pink with a little belted accent from Dior couture.
