We’re growing some teeth as to what can be done with AI, but we also see where there’s progress, there’s attack. One of the things I like to point out with AI systems is that if your AI systems fail on people of color, you don’t have a robust system. If your AI doesn’t work on the global majority, if your AI doesn’t work for women, if your AI doesn’t work for people with disabilities, once you start expanding all of the areas we’re talking about, it comes to your AI doesn’t work for humanity. To me, that’s a proactive approach of saying, how do we build consumer AI technology in a way that’s more ethical? I was talking to Sam Altman about the climate impact of AI, especially these large language models and generative AI systems.

I can't say exactly why my mom was so dead set on the prenup, but I guess she figured it couldn't hurt to protect me financially. Using traditional savings accountsAllocca favors high-yield savings accounts over the traditional savings accounts typically offered by large banks, as they offer better annual interest rates. Currently, you can find high-yield savings accounts offering APRs of around 5%, while traditional accounts offer interest rates closer to 0.6%, per Bankrate's most recent data. Many online banks and credit unions offer high-yield savings accounts, so they're not hard tp come by. "All of my cash savings are in a high-yield savings account," says Allocca. In “Expats,” the actress Ji-young Yoo, a relative newcomer to Hollywood, shares the screen with Nicole Kidman, the Oscar- and Emmy-winning actress and producer. Yoo plays Mercy, a Columbia grad and would-be babysitter for the young son of Kidman’s Margaret, a former landscape architect and a mother of three living, none too happily, in Hong Kong. When Mercy loses her charge in a moment of distraction (yes, she was texting), it sends Margaret into — well, just imagine how Nicole Kidman might react if, say, you were texting and you lost her child. “When I watch the scenes with me and Nicole, it still feels like I was Photoshopped in,” she said in an interview last month. Brad Gerstner rose to prominence in the tech investment scene for his early lucrative bets in Snowflake and Meta Platforms , and he's showing no signs of slowing down. Altimeter has also been an on-and-off investor in Meta Platforms since the early 2010s. As a top 15 institutional investor, Gerstner wrote a critical open letter in October 2022, saying the company needed to slash headcount and stop spending so much money on metaverse.
