Bitcoin's "halving" is expected to happen soon. But its potential impact depends on your relationship to the coin; it's likely to affect miners and investors differently. "To the people who own bitcoin because they think it's a good store of value, this halving is not that big of a deal. Miners receive bitcoins, known as block rewards, for verifying and validating transactions and helping keep the blockchain network secure. What the bitcoin halving may mean for investorsWhile the halving itself doesn't directly impact bitcoin's price, investors' anticipation of the event can lead to highly erratic price movements, says Douglas Boneparth, a certified financial planner and president of Bone Fide Wealth.

Lance Fensterman, CEO of Fanatics Events and the former president of ReedPop — where he produced pop culture events like New York Comic-Con, Complex-Con, and Star Wars Celebration — said he sees several parallels between pop culture fans and sports fans. However, he noted, while events like New York Comic-Con have evolved to embrace multiple difference fanbases and communities, the sports-focused event space is "ready to be disrupted a bit." Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, Eli and Peyton Manning, Kevin Durant, Sabrina Ionescu and Hulk Hogan are just some of the big sports names scheduled to appear, Fensterman said. But packing light can also be a creative endeavor that helps build excitement for your upcoming getaway. And with fees for checked bags on the rise, it makes economic sense to master the art of packing a carry-on. Get in the minimalist mind-setIf you tend to over-pack, begin by thinking about why you’re traveling in the first place. “When you’re traveling,” she explained, “it’s more about you seeing the world than the world seeing you.”Pack colors that coordinate so you can bring fewer items yet still have options, like re-wearing the same pants with various shirts.

More than two years later, only four states — Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania and Hawaii — have opened stations funded by the program. The Biden administration says the federal charging program is on track. The grants will fund 47 EV charging stations and related projects in 22 states and Puerto Rico, including 7,500 charging ports. But even some of the government’s own experts say 500,000 public chargers won’t be enough to meet Biden’s ambitious climate goals. The availability of charging stations is key to persuading Americans to buy EVs.

CNN —South African photographer, visual artist and fashion icon Trevor Stuurman has become one of the country’s most sought-after creatives by unapologetically challenging the global perception of African cultures through his powerful visual storytelling. This narrative shift was fully on display with his work on Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated visual album “Black is King,” in 2020, which Stuurman knew would reach a massive audience. In 2021, Stuurman photographed the “Coming to America 2” x Uoma Beauty “Black is Magic” collection to showcase African creativity and contemporary cultures. “Everyone has the artistic ability, but not everyone has the professional tool set to execute and build a long-lasting career,” Stuurman said. “[The Manor] is about extending the table and creating a table as opposed to asking for a seat at the table.”Watch the full episode of African Voices Changemakers featuring Trevor Stuurman.
