The NFL and the Washington Commanders misled the public about an investigation into decades-long misconduct in the team's workplace, according to a report from the House Oversight and Reform Committee released Thursday after a yearlong probe. The panel also said the NFL and Commanders owner Daniel Snyder impeded its investigation into the matter. The NFL told her to "complete a written report of its findings" surrounding the Commanders' workplace culture. But then the league refused to release the written report, instead presenting their findings orally in order to "better preserve" witness anonymity and confidentiality. In 2014, the NFL released a 144-page written report related to an investigation into the Miami Dolphins' alleged culture of harassment and bullying.

Jon Kendle wanted to work in sports so got a summer internship at the NFL Hall of Fame in 2005. Kendle is now the vice president of museum and archives for the Hall and met Tom Brady on the job. I was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I was able to run down to the archives and find Tom Brady's draft card and show it to him. The draft card is just a piece of paper with a name written on it, but it means so much more.

Even in this golden age of scrambling quarterbacks in the NFL, there isn’t anyone quite like the Chicago Bears’ Justin Fields. He broke the record for quarterbacks with 178 rushing yards in a single regular-season game a couple of weeks ago. One way of measuring Fields’s recent play is through how millions of people track NFL players: fantasy football. The Ravens defense stifled Andy Dalton and a depleted Saints offense, with Houston finishing with two-and-a-half sacks and a key interception in the fourth quarter, as New Orleans was held to a season-low 243 yards. The star of the show was Houston though who, despite having doubts about his future during the offseason, has looked revived this season.
