Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the blast.

Police visited a house in Arlington, Va., at around 4:45 p.m.
ET Monday after receiving calls that a man had discharged a flare gun approximately 30 or 40 times into the surrounding neighborhood, the local police department said in a statement.
