Entrepreneur Mark Cuban speaks at a campaign event for US Vice President Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris at University Wisconsin-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on October 17, 2024. Billionaire investor Mark Cuban said Sunday that he is not eyeing a White House cabinet role even as he vigorously campaigns for Vice President Kamala Harris in the race against former President Donald Trump. I have no interest in serving in the cabinet for Kamala Harris or anybody," Cuban said in an interview on ABC's "This Week." As he stumps for Harris, Cuban has occasionally injected his own policy visions for a hypothetical Harris administration, especially on corporate regulation. "I think the bigger picture is she's hurting more than she's helping," Cuban told Semafor, speaking mainly of Khan's efforts to break up Big Tech companies.

As President Joe Biden fought to remain in the presidential race this summer, advisers often argued there existed a “Biden coalition” — a cohort only the incumbent could hold together. A coalition of labor groups targeting union members in battleground states is pointing to Biden’s term in office. Coons noted the vice president has campaigned in Pennsylvania’s biggest cities, but also in places like Wilkes-Barre, Johnstown and Erie to reach the kinds of voters Biden has long considered his base. And for some voters whom Biden won in 2020, the message has shifted away from being about him. The union has held rallies and other organizing events there and in Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada targeting its own and other union members.

The Rogan interview is a continuation of Trump turning to nontraditional media outlets, including podcasts, in the weeks leading up to Election Day. Rogan also invited Vice President Kamala Harris to do an interview, but her campaign has declined. Later in the interview, Rogan seemed to foreshadow the fact that Trump’s Lee comment could get him criticized. Vice President Kamala Harris had also been in talks to do an interview with Rogan but it didn’t pan out. As the third hour of the interview approached, Trump said he realized he needed to get to a scheduled rally in Michigan, which he was late for because of the length of the Rogan interview.

“It makes me excited as one citizen of the nation, too, more than for usual elections,” she said. Going into the election, the Liberal Democrats still commanded the highest level of support, with just over 31 percent of voters endorsing the party in a poll by NHK, the public broadcaster. The Constitutional Democrats received support from less than 10 percent of voters surveyed. Seven disparate opposition parties came together to form a government, but it collapsed within just 11 months. “Kamala is weak, dishonest, and dangerously liberal, and that’s why the American people will reject her on November 5th.”The Harris campaign declined to comment for this article. “Well, I’m clearly a woman,” Harris told NBC News in her interview Tuesday. New York CNN —Over the past three years, Elon Musk has met dozens of times with presidents, prime ministers, lawmakers, government officials and political candidates from around the world. Other meetings, such as a recent conversation with Argentine President Javier Milei, the world only glimpses through the billionaire’s social media posts. Recently, Musk’s political activism has begun to have a tangible impact on his companies: Brands pulled their advertisements from X, tanking its value. CNN’s analysis also suggests that Musk has, in particular, worked to develop influence among a set of right-leaning world leaders, including Modi, Bolsonaro, Milei and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Now, as he campaigns for Trump, Musk may be setting himself up for his most prominent political role yet: a position in a possible future Trump White House.

The record shows that Mr. Trump often pursues his stated goals, regardless of how plainly they lack legal or moral grounding. For this reason, Americans would be wise to see this language as a genuine threat, not simply Mr. Trump on a tangent. Why You Should Believe Him As president, Mr. Trump repeatedly sought to use the power of government to punish his political opponents. But rules can be rewritten, and Mr. Trump has made clear that he intends to pick officials who will take orders from the Oval Office. Mr. Trump would have broad authority to pursue such a plan, though he’d need Congress to provide a lot of money.

CNN —Senior-level personnel changes at the US Secret Service as well as the creation of new divisions are underway as the agency works to resolve security breakdowns that preceded the two attempts on former President Donald Trump’s life this summer. Typically, incoming presidents choose their own Secret Service director, and it’s hard to know whether Vice President Kamala Harris or Trump would retain Rowe. “I’m trying to get programs more closely aligned with the mission, getting them out to the field so that they are directly supporting enforcement operations, major criminal investigations and, of course, protective operations,” Rowe told CNN. Radio calls from local police who saw the shooter on the roof shortly before he opened fire never made it to the Secret Service. CNN has previously reported on the strain inside the Secret Service as the agency dramatically ramps up protection during the final stretch of the campaign season.

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., chair of the House Oversight Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology and Government Innovation, is seeking communications between the administration and social media companies, like Facebook-owner Meta. “The Biden-Harris Administration has advertised its willingness to manipulate the content of social media sites,” Mace wrote, pointing to the administration’s 2021 admission that it worked with social media companies to flag misinformation on their platforms, including related to Covid-19. “The White House has not apologized for this activity or indicated that it would cease and desist from engaging in such behavior," Mace continued. In the final days of the race, Harris is expected to stress that she still believes she and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, are the “underdogs” in the race and that “nothing can be left on the field,” a Harris aide said. Harris has also started to use video clips of Trump’s comments at her rallies, a pattern that is expected to continue. A Harris campaign aide said the strategy is viewed as a “smart way to force a conversation about him.”“A huge part of our thinking is that we need to show his lack of fitness,” the person said. “Donald Trump’s comments continue to become more bizarre and more strange, and that’s something that should concern the American people and, in these closing days,” Garcia told NBC News on Wednesday, “Kamala Harris will make that argument.”

We can see the cup-with-handle pattern developing on the daily chart, consisting of a six-month rounded bottoming pattern followed by a brief pullback in the month of October. The key to a cup with handle pattern is the "rim" of the cup, which is essentially a trendline connecting the highs during the price pattern. Other indicators on the chart seem to suggest that an impending breakout is likely, especially the RSI which has been in a bullish range since July of this year. Similar to the daily chart, we can see the weekly RSI has been in a bullish range for the last five years. This continued bullish momentum range suggests a bullish secular trend, reinforcing the upside potential represented on the daily chart.

This, despite the fact that younger investors were more optimistic about the economy, their incomes, their living situations, and their investments. Millennial investors have been deeply scarred by two life-changing crises in their young lives. But if you look at hard numbers from the Federal Reserve about what millennial investors actually own, you can see that this stereotype is misguided. When you compare millennials' cash levels with Gen X's cash levels at the same age, though, the risk aversion becomes clear. But when it comes to younger investors, I think the scars run deeper than worries about a coming downturn.
