CNN —For me, writing a haiku a day began as a practice on my birthday, October, 2022. As my birthday rolled around that fall, the idea of writing a haiku a day was simply a way of promising myself that that day, I’d steady myself make note of — ha — just one thing. No matter the day, I was sure I could find a way to write down one sentence, one spattering of roughly 17 syllables. CNN —A class action lawsuit was filed on Thursday in Washington state against Boeing on behalf of the passengers aboard last week’s Alaska Airlines flight 1282. According to the lawsuit’s allegations, “the event physically injured some passengers and emotionally traumatized most if not all aboard. “Boeing is responsible for the safety of design and maintenance instructions as well as continuing airworthiness of the aircraft,” the lawsuit said. Some of the plaintiffs listed in the lawsuit cited various injuries they allegedly suffered as a result of the incident including “difficulty breathing,” “causing a concussion” and a loss of hearing. The lawsuit is requesting a trial to determine the damage amounts.

But the fast-fashion company's sales are "a lot more" than the $30 billion it reportedly brings in annually, one of the retailer's key partners said Monday. "There's talks that they do 30 billion, do they do 40 billion? If Shein's sales are "a lot more" than $30 billion annually, its revenue would still be far smaller than that of retail giants such as Walmart and Amazon , which do hundreds of billions in sales annually.
