Satellite manufacturer Terran Orbital is "looking at everything" regarding the company's future, CEO Marc Bell told CNBC, as it considers Lockheed Martin' s acquisition offer. "We found out about [Lockheed's takeover bid] when the rest of the world found out about it," Bell said on CNBC's "Manifest Space" podcast. The defense giant is already a significant stakeholder in Terran Orbital, with a 28.3% stake at the time of the proposal. It's been widely reported over the last year that ULA parent companies Boeing and Lockheed Martin are considering offloading the rocket business. That's despite the successful debut of ULA's Vulcan rocket in early January, which I assumed would galvanize a sale. It might be surprising that as geopolitical tensions and the risk of a wider regional conflict in the Middle East rise, defense stocks have been lagging on the sidelines. With defense stocks trading closer to their 52-week lows, I believe that this presents an attractive risk/reward opportunity to potentially add some of these defense stocks to your portfolio. With these types of valuations, the downside is limited, and the upside remains sizable, especially given the propensity for defense stocks to outperform during escalations of war. The biggest risk to NOC is its ability to navigate supply chain costs and budget overruns, which recently dented its recent quarter earnings. The trade The implied volatility rank on NOC is currently sitting at 23%, which indicates that options are neither cheap nor expensive.

A marine robotics company recently captured an object on the ocean floor, about 15,000 feet below the surface of the Pacific Ocean. Earhart’s flight plan was well known. According to Earhart biographer Doris Rich, the US government had obtained permits for the countries she would stop in along the way. And it fit her need of a refueling stop in the western Pacific Ocean. In 1997, pilot Elgen Long and his wife Marie Long published the book, “Amelia Earhart: The Mystery Solved.” The Longs laid out facts and solid suppositions for others to follow.
