The PAC said the latest filing covered donations in the period of July 1 through Sept. 30, but numbers included cumulative contributions. At least 18 donors gave more than $5.5 million in bitcoin to Trump 47, the filing shows. Trump said in his keynote that his campaign had raised $25 million from the crypto industry, though he didn't specify the split between digital tokens and dollar donations. Among the new donors is Chase Herro, one of the co-founders of the Trump family's new crypto project World Liberty Financial.

But with our "own it, don't trade it" view still intact on Apple stock, it's acceptable for the upgrade cycle to get off to a slower start. But because of that, our startup scene is fragmented," read the open letter, which was published Monday on a newly created website for the EU Inc initiative. This results in "stifled momentum, unrealized potential, and an artificial limit on our startups' chances of success." So-called 28th regimes are proposed legal frameworks within the EU that offer an alternative to member states' own national rules instead of replacing them. The new structure of EU Inc would "standardize investment processes, simplify cross-border operations, and create a unified employee stock options framework" to help European startups scale rapidly and attract more capital, according to a Monday press release.

Insured losses from Hurricane Milton could range from $30 billion to $60 billion, per Morningstar DBRS. Homeowners and renters affected by a natural disaster can ask about so-called "loss of use" or "additional living expenses" coverage from their insurance providers, experts say. The provision is meant to help cover reasonable living expenses if your home is not suitable to live in as a result of a covered peril such as a hurricane, fire or burst pipe. "I don't know of any homeowners policy that doesn't have it already there," said Karl Susman, president and principal insurance agent of Susman Insurance Services, Inc. in Los Angeles.

Before this week's downside price gap, it's worth noting that Nike was testing a major resistance level into last week. To add to this "confluence of resistance," we can also see the 200-day moving average looming large, currently sitting just above $91. The weekly chart can provide some additional context as to what the recent upswing means relative to the long-term trend for Nike. The long-term trend has been decidedly negative for NKE, with price remaining below the 150-week moving average since Q2 2022. Nike also sits below a downward-sloping 40-week moving average, which is essentially the same as the 200-day moving average on the daily chart.
