CNN —For some young people, a popular method for getting a quick high is by misusing laughing gas — and lately, that’s in the form of nitrous oxide from products sold by the company Galaxy Gas. (It’s worth noting that some social media videos tagged “Galaxy Gas” depict nitrous oxide products from other brands.) The unlawful misuse of nitrous oxide products poses serious health hazards, said a Galaxy Gas spokesperson in a statement. “Galaxy Gas products are for responsible culinary use only, and we are deeply concerned about the recent news reports and social media posts of individuals illegally misusing our products,” the company spokesperson added. Other risks include brain damage, anemia, nerve damage, paralysis, vitamin B12 deficiency and nitrous oxide dependency.

Hershey’s namesake milk chocolate and Reese’s peanut butter and chocolate will soon be sold as protein powders and its Jolly Rancher candies will be turned into bubbly energy drinks. TERMINI IMERSE, Italy — Prosecutors said there "could be a question of manslaughter" as they opened an investigation into the deaths of seven people after a superyacht sank while anchored off the Sicilian coast Monday. Speaking at a press conference, prosecutor Ambrogio Cartosio said the investigation is not currently directed at any individuals, and is looking into “the crime of culpable shipwreck and multiple manslaughter." New Zealander James Cutfield has already been questioned for more than two hours, and prosecutors said he had been "extremely cooperative." Bad weather was forecast ahead of the sinking, and questions about the weather were also raised by journalists. The body of Recaldo Thomas, a Canadian Antiguan national who was the ship’s cook, was recovered shortly after the accident.

“Heaven” is how Peter Jamieson describes his home in Scotland, with its uninterrupted view of Loch Ness and the green hills stretching beyond, seemingly forever. But there is a problem in paradise, and it has nothing to do with the mythical aquatic monster that brought fame to the area. Centuries after being hunted to extinction, wild boars are back, roaming the hills and roads around the lake. And so Mr. Jamieson, who lives not far from the village of Drumnadrochit, often wakes to discover his front lawn plowed as if by an excavator.
