Stellantis said it has about 12,700 U.S. salaried workers who are not union members. Stellantis made buyout offers to groups of white-collar and unionized employees in the U.S. and Canada in April. It was hoping to cut the hourly workforce by about 3,500 people but wouldn't say how many salaried workers it was targeting. REUTERS/Carlos Barria/File Photo Acquire Licensing RightsBENGALURU, Nov 9 (Reuters) - InterGlobe Enterprises, which backs India's top airline IndiGo, and U.S.-based Archer Aviation (ACHR.N) will launch an all-electric air taxi service in India in 2026 that will be "cost-competitive" with on-road services, the companies said Thursday. The companies said that a trip that typically takes 60 to 90 minutes by car in Delhi, for example, will take about 7 minutes in an air taxi. InterGlobe Enterprises, which owns nearly 38% of IndiGo-parent InterGlobe Aviation (INGL.NS) as well as hospitality and logistics businesses, also plans to use the e-aircraft for cargo, logistics, medical, emergency and charter services. Archer secured a $142 million-deal from the U.S. Air Force in July to provide six Midnight aircraft and said in October it would launch an air taxi service in the UAE.

RBI, which the person said had sharply reduced its exposure to the Signa group in recent years, declined to comment on Thursday. The European Central Bank (ECB), which supervises the banks, declined to comment. Raiffeisen Landesbank Niederoesterreich-Wien, Raiffeisen Landesbank Oberoesterreich and Erste Group are also among the banks with exposures to Signa, the person said. The other two Austrian banks declined to comment. A spokesperson for Austria's central bank said it had no concerns about the country's financial stability, when asked about Signa's financial position.

The brand also is considering the introduction of a new sedan, as its long-running Chrysler 300 is being phased out of production. Speaking at the Reuters Events Automotive USA 2023 conference in Detroit, Feuell said the design of the new crossover is inspired by the Chrysler Airflow concept unveiled at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show. Feuell said Chrysler is still considering the size of a new sedan.

UAW Local 551 said 57% of votes cast were in favor of the deal. Ford employs about 4,500 hourly workers at the assembly plant, which also manufacturers the Ford Explorer. A majority of workers at Ford's Michigan assembly plant have already voted to approve the tentative deal.
