Based in part on the planned construction spending, Goldman Sachs analysts estimate that Biden’s initiatives could lead to as many as 250,000 new manufacturing jobs over the next two years. Pay growth is also cooling faster for production and manufacturing jobs, at 4.2% year-over-year in August, down from an 11% annual peak in December 2021 and compared to the national average of 4.5%, according to jobs website Indeed. By 2030, technological and cognitive skills in the manufacturing sector will be in far higher demand as the share of physical and manual tasks drops by more than a quarter from 2016, McKinsey says. The human brain is complex in terms of its utility - sensing, moving, reading, writing, speaking, thinking and more - and its cellular diversity. The research identified 3,313 cell types, roughly 10 times more than previously known, and the complete set of genes used by each cell type while also mapping their regional distribution in the brain. "The brain cell atlas as a whole provides the cellular substrate for everything that we can do as human beings," said neuroscientist Ed Lein of the Seattle-based Allen Institute for Brain Science, one of the researchers. The various cell types have distinct properties and are likely affected differently in disease, Lein said. "We are only at the very beginning of delineating the complexity of the human brain," said another of the researchers, Bing Ren, director of the University of California, San Diego Center for Epigenomics.

By David LawderMARRAKECH, Morocco (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Tuesday said her government, the International Monetary Fund (IMF)and the World Bank would support Morocco's earthquake rebuilding efforts, praising the country's resilience in hosting the institutions' annual meetings this week. "We stand ready to help in any way that is helpful as you go about the rebuilding process," Yellen told reporters in Marrakech, reading handwritten remarks. She did not specify what assistance would be offered but added that support for Morocco would be discussed at the IMF and World Bank meetings in Marrakech. Yellen toured the Bin Youssef high school in Marrakech, which was quick to take on students displaced from damaged schools in villages hit by the Sept. 8 earthquake. Morocco also has a $5 billion IMF flexible credit line that it can draw on.
