As Election Day approaches, the campaigns are putting significant time and attention toward courting Black men, seen as a crucial — and potentially movable — voting bloc in a tight presidential race. However, that number drops to 68% for Black men under 50, compared to 21% who support Trump. “It’s very important to not operate from the assumption that Black men are in anybody’s pocket,” she said during an interview with the National Association of Black Journalists in September. New York CNN —Former President Donald Trump’s social media company is on fire on Wall Street. Up until very recently, Trump Media & Technology Group had been in meltdown mode. Its share price dropped to a record low of $12.15 on September 23, marking a stunning 82% crash from its high. Trump Media did not announce a sudden revenue stream or a flashy new product that could explain the move. “At today’s stock price of about $25, the stock is overvalued by 1,000% or so,” Ritter said, “suggesting a 90% drop will eventually occur.”

In a McKinsey survey in February, groceries represented the top category that Gen Z and millennial respondents said they planned to splurge on, outpacing restaurants, travel, and fitness; in 2017, Gen Xers were the top spenders on groceries, followed by boomers. In June, Bank of America reported that its Gen Z customers spent more at premium grocery stores than any other generation. The trend picked up steam with Gen Z. Millennials and Gen Zers are driving demand for vegetarian and vegan food. In a recent YouGov survey for Whole Foods, 70% of Gen Z respondents indicated they were willing to pay more for high-quality foods. President Joe Biden announced while surveying storm-damaged Florida on Sunday that over $600 million will flow to states affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton, which ravaged Georgia and North Carolina as well.
