The data are limited to base salaries and US-based jobs for visa-seeking employees. Still, sports betting is as much about sports as it is gambling and tech — growing industries known for high-paying jobs. The data included five US sports betting companies: BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel, Penn Interactive, and Rush Street Interactive. It included salaries for jobs such as a data engineer at DraftKings that would make $97,000 per year or more and a sports trading senior manager at FanDuel that would earn $130,000. A FanDuel software engineer based in New York would make $128,440, which is in the range of what TikTok has offered software engineers, the data shows.

WASHINGTON — The White House on Monday criticized former President Donald Trump for telling American Jews over the weekend to "get their act together" and "appreciate" Israel "before it is too late." Speaking at a press briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Trump’s comments on his Truth Social website were "antisemitic" and "insulting" both to "Jews and to our Israeli allies." "For years now, Donald Trump has aligned with extremist and antisemitic figures," she added. "He has been invoking antisemitic tropes for years about Jewish power, about Jewish greed, about dual loyalty." The White House has in the past been reluctant to respond directly to inflammatory comments from the former president.
Trump on Sunday wrote that US Jews "have to get their act together" on matters relating to Israel. "Support for the Jewish state never gives one license to lecture American Jews," the AJC tweeted. The American Jewish Committee also criticized Trump's post. Those remarks were also criticized by the American Jewish Committee, which called the comments antisemitic. "His past support for Israel doesn't give him license to traffic in radioactive antisemitic tropes — or peddle unfounded conclusions about the unbreakable ties that bind American Jews to Israel.
New York CNN Business —After being locked out of his Twitter and Instagram accounts for anti-semitic posts, Monday’s announcement Kanye West will buy the far-right social platform Parler for an undisclosed amount drove headlines. As of press time, the music icon had just 10,000 followers on the platform — a tiny sliver of the 31 million followers he has amassed on Twitter. (By comparison Twitter, also a small social platform compared to giants like Meta, has more than 237 million daily active users.) In truth, West did not even agree to purchase a “conservative social media platform,” as many headlines in the press would have led readers to believe. What he agreed to purchase is a platform with an embarrassingly small user base comprised of far-right extremists and racists.

CNN Business —Kanye West is acquiring Parler, the alternative social media platform favored by many conservatives. Exact terms of the Parler deal weren’t disclosed, though Parler said it must still enter into a definitive agreement with West and expects to close in the fourth quarter. Buying Parler could make West the latest celebrity owner of a social media platform after former President Donald Trump’s bid to win over conservatives with Truth Social and Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s proposed acquisition of Twitter. Truth Social launched in February on Apple’s app store, and was approved for Google’s app store on Oct. 13. Musk’s move to buy Twitter, if the deal goes through, also has the potential to upend Parler and similar services.
The people of Iran are in open revolt, this time led by courageous young women protesting the murder of Mahsa Amini, a young Kurdish woman who died in the custody of the morality police, and the law requiring they wear hijab. Most significantly, this current uprising over the murder of a Kurdish 22-year-old is being led by the young women of the TikTok generation. Pro-regime chants of “death to America” and “death to Israel” have been a staple of the rhetorical diet fed to the public. To that end, pro-Palestinian sympathy was ingrained in Iran’s propaganda via school textbooks, television programs, sports, cartoons, billboards and more. In 1979, the people of Iran yearned for a democratic revolution; instead, they got an Islamic dictatorship.

His comments have given fuel to the growing interest in a one-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as negotiations to create a sovereign Palestinian state have achieved little in recent years. But such a process insists on a sovereign Palestinian state. 01:18 - Source: CNNThe idea of the two-state solution sounds simple enough – an Israeli state next to a Palestinian state, existing side by side in peace. OPINION: What Trump’s meeting with Abbas meansWhat would a one-state solution look like? It is land that Palestinians, along with the international community, view as territory for a future Palestinian state.
