As more pictures of the badge emerged, it caught the attention of Haddington Town AFC. As well as the soccer club, it appears on the local high school's badge, on statues in the town, and even engraved on lamp posts. But Haddington Town AFC saw the funny side of things, joking on X about Musk joining the club.

In 1958, two Air Force jets collided over Georgia, and one was carrying a nuclear weapon. He headed for the ocean, dropped the nuclear bomb from about 7,200 feet, and landed the B-47 safely. A B-47 Stratojet similar to the one that dropped the nuclear weapon near Tybee Island, Georgia. Between 1960 and 1968, the US military kept jets armed with nuclear weapons at the ready in case of a surprise nuclear attack. A series of near misses and serious accidents with nuclear weapons caused the Air Force to end the program.

Everton have been sold to 777 Partners, the struggling Premier League club said on Friday, with the U.S. private equity firm taking over from Farhad Moshiri in a deal reportedly worth more than 550 million pounds ($685 million). The Miami-based investment fund said it had signed an agreement with British-Iranian billionaire Moshiri to acquire his 94.1% stake in the club. The firm 777 Partners has a number of clubs in its portfolio, including Italian side Genoa and Belgian team Standard Liege, while they also have stakes in LaLiga club Sevilla and Australian A-League side Melbourne Victory. By January 2022, he had increased his stake to 94.1% with a 100 million pounds capital injection.

However, the company's net interest income on client balances was boosted by rising interest rates and stability in the amount of cash maintained by clients in their accounts. Net interest income during the quarter was 34.4 million pounds compared to 7.1 million pounds a year earlier. IG Group posted total revenue of 242.9 million pounds ($303.5 million) for the reported period, compared with 241.8 million pounds a year earlier.
