Good Meat, which is owned by plant-based egg substitute maker Eat Just, said that production is starting immediately. Good Meat, which has been selling its products in Singapore, advertises its product as “meat without slaughter,” a more humane approach to eating meat. New York CNN —Grubhub is laying off 400 corporate employees, about 15% of its workforce, amid higher costs and declining orders. “As a result, today we have made the very difficult decision to reduce headcount at Grubhub,” he said. Grubhub is letting go of about 400 employees, or 15% of staff. “We need to continually look at whether we are set up in the right way to deliver for our diners, restaurants and delivery partners.”Grubhub is competing with the likes of Uber Eats and Doordash for restaurants’ delivery business. The announcement today makes Grubhub the latest in a number of companies reducing staff.

New York CNN —Coca-Cola is launching a new limited-edition flavor for gamers, a demographic increasingly pursued by mainstream food and beverage brands. For this new flavor, called Coca-Cola Ultimate, the soda maker partnered with Riot Games, which publishes the multi-player online battle arena game League of Legends. Coca-Cola Ultimate bottles. As in most of those cases (Marshmello’s flavor had notes of strawberry and watermelon) Coca-Cola won’t share what Ultimate is actually supposed to taste like. And the relationship between Riot and Coca-Cola is deeper than the limited-edition flavor.

The so-called Oleato drinks debuted in the United States in March to somewhat negative reviews. On the Oleato menu are an oat milk latte and a toffeenut iced shaken espresso, also made with oat milk. There’s also a cold brew with olive-oil infused cold foam, called golden foam, made with a double serving of olive oil. Oleato drinks are made with olive oil. Last year, Schultz met olive oil producer Tommaso Asaro, who introduced him to the practice of consuming a tablespoon of olive oil each day.
