Following the trade, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust will own 400 shares of PG, decreasing its weighting in the portfolio to 2.15% from 2.4%. Ever since earnings, P & G has stormed back despite the market volatility. The move here has been based on investors buying quality safety stocks like P & G out of fear of a growth scare in the U.S. economy. We always say there's room in any portfolio for a defensive dividend aristocrat like Procter & Gamble, and the market's recent stretch of turbulence proved its purpose. Jim waits 45 minutes after sending a trade alert before buying or selling a stock in his charitable trust's portfolio.

But prosecutors had no direct evidence tying Black to the location of the murder, an Ohio appellate court later said. In many cases, prosecutors themselves don't even have access to the source code and haven't reviewed the underlying technology. Back in Akron, the judge in Rankin's case ordered the Cybercheck evidence excluded after prosecutors failed to turn over the source code. The Summit County Prosecutor's Office declined to comment when reached by BI. It's unclear how many others may be behind bars because of Cybercheck evidence that was never rigorously scrutinized.

The S & P 500 5,350 puts I discussed are trading nearly $170 as I write this, up ~ $12,000 per contract. This is even though the S & P 500 is down only 2.3% since I wrote that article over a month ago. One could roll those options down and out to the September 5200/4500 S & P 500 put spread which costs about $100. If you didn't read the earlier article, here are the components of a long put spread, sometimes referred to as a "Bear Put Spread." In periods of high implied volatility, option premiums are generally higher because the market anticipates larger price movements.

There weren't any specific reasons for most of the moves; we weren't a military family or moving due to work. As a parent, I focus on creating routines and stabilityWhen I became a parent, I read about the benefits of routines for children and the security that familiarity provides. As they have grown, we have built family rituals such as Friday Family Night, where we take turns deciding what to do as a group. These all add another layer of predictability to their lives and give our kids a sense of family identity and belonging. But I hope that the scaffolding of predictable routines and rituals as a foundation in their lives will give them the support they need to handle big changes when they arise.

Eugenicists used photographs and IQ tests to determine which people were "inferior," and sterilized those who didn't measure up — which usually turned out to be anyone who wasn't white and rich. Before he worked with photographs, Kosinski was interested in Facebook. It's just picking up on the way gay people present themselves on dating sites — which, not surprisingly, is often very different from the way straight people present themselves to potential partners. Kosinski thinks AI's ability to make the kind of personality judgments he studies will only get better. Less discussed, however, is a parallel crisis in corporate America: a wave of aging business leaders who refuse to step aside. The average retirement age is similarly increasing: to 62 in 2024 from 57 in 1991. Using public data from 1992 to 2018, they assessed the relationship between a CEO's age and their "managerial ability," as measured by how they turned company resources into revenue and profit. "A 10% increase in CEO age is associated with a 1.9% decrease in managerial ability," they wrote. I stopped spending money on things that weren't of value to me." Side hustles and investing in retirement can boost one's savingsOver the past decade, Grumet has padded his savings through various income streams. In addition to hospice work, he's also tried side hustles that include medical expert work, nursing home medical directing, medical blogging, and several forms of consulting. While the extra income has helped boost his savings, Grumet said investing much of this income into the stock market — and seeing strong investment returns — is what's allowed his finances to truly blossom. Grumet said his retirement goal was to have at least 25 times his total annual spending in savings — he's already met this milestone.

The Palisades Nuclear Generating Station in Covert, Mich. John Madill | The Herald-Palladium | APThe Palisades Power Plant on the shores of Lake Michigan had become a piece of history, a relic of an era when nuclear energy was viewed as the future. The new technology, which could become the first of its kind on the U.S. grid, promises to speed deployment of nuclear plants in the future. The U.S. and a coalition of more than 20 other countries pledged in December to triple nuclear energy by 2050. But building new nuclear plants is slow and expensive. SMRs are viewed as an important path to expand nuclear power because they promise to reduce capital costs, a major hurdle to building new plants.

However, after EzDubs went through the Y Combinator startup program last year, the company made a quick pivot, adding Microsoft's cloud into the mix. That's because EzDubs' founders learned of a partnership that enabled Y Combinator companies to receive $350,000 worth of credits on Microsoft Azure. The current offer includes $350,000 in AWS credits, plus $300,000 reserved for tapping the custom silicon, the spokesperson said. A spokesperson later said 58% of Y Combinator startups had taken up Microsoft's credit offer, a figure that doesn't reflect actual Azure usage. Humans were making rope nearly 40,000 years agoExperts think this ivory baton was used for rope making around 38,000 years ago. One artifact, an eight-inch piece of ivory with grooved holes, wasn't easy to identify. Archaeologists have found similar items, known as batons, in the UK and France. Made of ivory or antler, they have holes with grooves on the inside, and some have notches. Based on descriptions of rope-making with similar tools from the Middle Ages, the researchers recreated the process with a replica of the piece of ivory.
