Even though I made a mistake when I took out my student loans, people should know it's more nuanced than that. I stupidly assumed I would make enough after graduation to pay off my student loans quickly. It's no secret that state schools get a bad rap and are often looked down on. I had one guidance counselor who told me someone with my grades should aim higher than a state school. I'm now paying for the mistakes and will struggle to pay back my student loans for the next decade.

Three-quarters of Americans, or 76%, favor allowing the federal health care program for the elderly to negotiate prices for certain prescription drugs. Americans are split on how Biden is handling the issue of prescription drug prices — 48% approve, making it a relative strong point for Biden, but 50% disapprove. Even among the Americans who support allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices, approval of Biden’s handling of the issue remains relatively tepid. "They kept prescription drug prices high to increase their profits. “Well, we did it.”Ellen Daily, a 73-year-old retiree in Carrollton, Texas, said she strongly favors allowing Medicare to negotiate on drug prices.

That's not to say that Jersey City is much cheaper, but there are more options: Along the Hudson River waterfront in Jersey City, dozens of luxury high-rises have sprouted up within the last 10 years, some filled with their own coffee shops, heated pools, and rooftop dog runs. Now, he knows at least eight to 10 acquaintances who have taken the Jersey City plunge since he moved. After being placed on a PIP, he 'quiet quit' for 3 months before leaving in January. Within a couple of weeks I was assigned another project, which turned out to be the worst project I've ever worked on. I started warning leadership and my peers that it wasn't going to get doneI told them we needed way more resources if we were going to do it right. That harmed me as a director — I essentially became a really expensive business analyst who wasn't making any money for the firm. After being placed on my PIP, I realized this wasn't the job for me, but I needed to ride it out to make ends meet.

When Bartlett and a couple friends pooled $3,000 to launch men's apparel brand True Classic in 2019, he'd never sold clothing before. But the idea behind True Classic, affordable shirts built to flatteringly fit the everyman, seemed to resonate with people. The mistake, he says, nearly put True Classic out of business. Now, finally, True Classic is once again positioned to compete with direct-to-consumer rivals like Everlane and Vuori, and clothing giants like Nike and Ralph Lauren. True Classic spent $40 million on its first inventory order for the year.

A Russian warship was struck by a Ukrainian drone boat that it doesn't appear to have seen coming. Just a few days before this attack, Russian vessels were fighting off drone boats in another incident. "It just seems very strange they didn't respond at all to the incoming drone boats," Clark added. The Russian ship may have assumed it was safe in Novorossiysk, given that the port is roughly 350 miles from the Ukrainian port city of Odessa, but it shouldn't have. The reach of Ukraine's drone boats was hardly a secret.

CNBC's Jim Cramer said he sees success ahead for fast-food chain Chipotle, even though its stock got clobbered and dropped nearly 10% on Thursday. To Cramer, who has experience as a restaurant owner, some of the most important factors for success are traffic and throughput. The new grill can be only found in 10 high-volume Chipotle locations, Cramer said. Cramer grouped aerospace company Honeywell in with Chipotle as another stock that plunged on Thursday that he thinks will perform well in the future. And that's true for Chipotle, and it's true for Honeywell, just as it was true for Align when the stock rolled over last year," Cramer said.

Dwyane Wade spent 16 years in the NBA, putting together a glittering career that included three championships, 13 all-star selections and a leading scorer title. As a player, Wade valued his physical fitness above all. In retirement, he has focused more on his overall wellness, including his mental health and time spent in solitude. "I feel like I'm in better shape now than I was actually as a player. I was very muscular, but I didn't take care of my body in the way that I should've because I didn't have the knowledge," he says.

In June, the collapse of the I-95 bridge in Philadelphia brought one of the city's busiest thoroughfares to a standstill. But in Philadelphia, I-95 reopened just 12 days later, restoring order on one of the busiest thoroughfares in the area. That quick work, Belmonte said, was one of many key decisions that got the reconstruction project moving rapidly. Meanwhile, congestion immediately spiked on the roadways near the I-95 collapse as emergency crews rushed to set up detours. Bartash said her travel time to Bucks County doubled to two and a half hours during the I-95 bridge reconstruction.

"Early on in my career, I wanted to prove how smart I was and so I did a lot more talking than listening," Cuban said. At the time, Cuban says he was sleeping on the floor of a three-bedroom apartment with six roommates in Dallas. The desire to prove himself sometimes led Cuban to be "too cocky," he says, which could rub people the wrong way. My family of 5 stayed in two family rooms on the Amtrak Auto Train from Florida to Virginia. Our family rooms felt spacious — they were the width of the train with large picture windows on both sides. We didn't have private showers, sinks, or toilets in the rooms, but there were communal bathrooms nearby in our train car. Our $3,100 train trip was more expensive than what we'd have spent on gas, hotels, and food during a road trip from Florida to Virginia. Next time, we'll book one family cabin and an adjacent roomette, a move that would've saved us about $630.
