Tesla, the world’s largest maker of EVs, is the only automaker making a profit on its US EV sales. So if the EV tax credit goes away, the price of all EVs might come down. ‘It will only help Tesla’Musk signaled during the campaign that he would support ending the EV tax credit, even if raised the cost of Tesla purchases for American buyers. But the rest of the auto industry wants to keep the tax credit in place. He said that Tesla’s pricing and scale in the EV space “is an apples to oranges when compared to the rest of the auto industry once the EV tax credit disappears.”

The president-elect’s previous selections for director of national intelligence, attorney general and defense secretary could change the country and the world in the long term. Even with vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. tapped to potentially lead the Department of Health and Human Services, CNBC's Jim Cramer said drug and junk food industries aren't necessarily headed for ruin. "Ultimately, if RFK dons jackboots and demands that we don't have vaccines or eat junk food, it probably won't matter," he said. At the same time, Cramer added, Kennedy has taken a hard stance against processed food. Many drug and processed food stocks have already shouldered heavy losses since Trump named Kennedy, including Eli Lilly , Bristol-Myers , Moderna , PepsiCo , J.M. Plus, he continued, drug and junk food stocks aren't particularly good investments during a rate-cutting cycle.

At 58 years old, Tyson will fight Jake Paul, the 27-year-old YouTube-star-turned-boxer who wasn’t even born when Tyson’s career was in its prime. It’s Tyson’s first sanctioned professional match since 2005. Lewis largely controlled the fight, as the champion survived Tyson’s round one onslaught and controlled the pace with strong jabs. The loss accelerated the end of Tyson’s professional career. His final professional bout — until Friday’s against Paul — came against McBride in 2005.

Shares of obesity drugmaker Eli Lilly fell more than 4% on Friday, extending a roughly 3% slide in Thursday's session. Ozempic is the posterchild of the fast-growing GLP-1 class, in which Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly are currently the two dominant players. Bottom line Eli Lilly has been our favorite drug stock for years thanks to its stellar pipeline led by GLP-1s. CSX CEO Joe Hinrichs discussed what a change in tariffs and manufacturing might mean for the railroad line in a Thursday interview with CNBC's Jim Cramer, explaining why he thinks his company is well-positioned. "From our standpoint, actually, as long as it's coming to the U.S., we're going to move it somewhere," Hinrichs said. "If tariffs change the trade portfolio — as long as the economy's growing, we'll be a part of it." President-elect Donald Trump is expected to raise tariffs substantially when he takes office, which could change trade patterns, especially with China. Hinrichs also suggested that an increase in domestic manufacturing would be positive for CSX, something that could be bolstered by the Trump administration's tariff policies.
