That means drivers may have to pay to enter the most congested parts of Manhattan as soon as early January. Kathy Hochul had revived the tolling plan, which she abruptly paused in June over concerns that it could slow New York City’s post-pandemic recovery. But now, five months later, Ms. Hochul has brought back the program with reduced tolls. Mr. Trump has vowed to kill the program in his first week in office.

Grubhub’s enterprise value of $650 million includes $500 million of senior notes and $150 million cash, Wonder said in a statement. Just Eat CEO Jitse Groen had in February said the M&A environment was not easy in the U.S., where fee caps cost the group some $100 million per year. The court has granted them a week's delay to provide their position, the clerk informed both sides in a court filing. Saturday Night Live” cast member Chloe Fineman appeared to solve a mystery Monday about which recent “SNL” host made someone cry: She said that the host was tech billionaire Elon Musk and that she was the one in tears. In August, fellow cast member Bowen Yang said on a podcast that a male “SNL” host made multiple cast members cry because the host hated their ideas for sketches. “I’m gonna come out and say, at long last, that I’m the cast member that he made cry and he’s the host that made someone cry,” she said in the video. Musk didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment late Monday about Fineman’s video. Fineman didn’t say which sketch it was, but she said it made it onto the show and turned out well.

Hedge fund investor David Einhorn's cautious stance all year made his performance suffer as he navigated what he believes is the priciest stock market of his career at Greenlight Capital. Einhorn's hedge fund returned just 9% in 2024 through the end of the third quarter, net of fees and expenses. The high-profile investor said he's neither calling the market a bubble nor being outright bearish, but sky-high prices caused him to be conservatively positioned. It is, by many measures, the most expensive stock market that we have seen since the founding of Greenlight," Einhorn said in the latest investor letter last month.
