Now, Holmes’ works have been brought together in a book — “Gas Tank City” (Circa Press) — alongside a show of the same name at London’s Architectural Association (AA). The drawings that make up the "Gas Tank City" book and exhibition celebrate every inch of the classic American truck, particularly the iconic Kenworth model. While the words “hyperreal” and “photorealistic” are used to describe his work, Holmes points out that the drawings are “completely unlike” photographic images. A California firefighter was arrested on suspicion of arson in a series of small fires that burned in wine country in recent weeks, officials said Friday. Still, there are plenty of instances when the yield curve uninverted and a recession wasn’t right around the corner. The most recent prior case of the yield curve uninverting was September 2019. (Disinversion and uninversion are both used to refer to a yield curve that returns to being in positive territory.) One reason she isn’t on edge is because the yield curve was inverted for a much longer stretch of time compared to other recent recessions.

The future of lithium production in the U.S. is gaining momentum in Arkansas, as companies like ExxonMobil , Albemarle, and Standard Lithium make significant investments in the state. While most of the world's lithium still comes from countries like Australia, Chile and China, Arkansas could change that. Standard Lithium, which has operated in Arkansas since 2020, is also expanding its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) facility in El Dorado, thanks to a $100 million investment from Koch Strategic Platforms. Justin Wayne Halstenberg, 34, is alleged to have set off three different fires last week, San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus said Thursday. One of those fires evolved into the Line Fire, that has continued to burn after eight days, while the other two were contained. According to Dicus, investigators were able to tie Halstenberg to the scene of all three fires. The investigation was indicative of “significant arson behavior” and it is possible Halstenberg could be tied to other fires, Dicus said. If convicted on the aggravated arson charge, Halstenberg could be sentenced between 10 years to life in prison.
