CNN —CONMEBOL, South America’s soccer federation, has announced the 14 cities that will host matches at the 2024 Copa América as the tournament returns to the United States for the first time since 2016. Ecuador was originally designated as the tournament host but pulled out in November 2022 due to economic and security concerns, as well as a lack of viable stadiums. CONMEBOL has encountered obstacles in hosting the last three editions of the Copa América held in South America. Now, for the third edition in a row, the host nation has been changed after the US took over organizing duties from Ecuador. Argentina won the postponed 2020 edition of the Copa América, which was moved to Brazil.

ATLANTA (AP) — Fourteen U.S. cities will play host to Copa América next summer, with the semifinals at East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Charlotte, North Carolina, ahead of the July 14 championship in Miami Gardens, Florida. The semifinals will be in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on July 9 and Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium the next day. This will be only the second time Copa América has been held outside of South America since the inaugural tournament in 1916. Except for the Centenario tournament, Copa América hosting duties usually have rotated among the 10 COMNEBOL nations in South America. One in four millennials moved to a different city in 2022, many for work or cost of living concerns. Nearly 17,300 millennials relocated to Cambridge in 2022, bringing the total percentage of millennials to 38% of the total population. Seattle and Sunnyvale, California, also saw comparable moves, as millennials who moved in 2022 made up about 12.5% of the total population for both cities. When looking at the top cities by percentage of total millennials compared to the total population, Jersey City, New Jersey, ranked first at 41.5%, followed by Seattle, Denver, and Austin. However, Port St. Lucie in Florida had the lowest rate of millennials moving in compared to the total population at 4.8%, followed by Brockton, Massachusetts.

Nov 15 (Reuters) - Palo Alto Networks (PANW.O) on Wednesday forecast second-quarter billings below market expectations and said its billings were "impacted by the cost of money", sending the cybersecurity company's shares down about 6% after the bell. Santa Clara, California-based Palo Alto forecast second-quarter billings in the range of $2.34 billion to $2.39 billion, compared with analysts' expectations of $2.42 billion, according to LSEG data. The company expects its annual billings to be between $10.7 billion and $10.8 billion, compared with its prior forecast range of $10.9 billion to $11 billion. Palo Alto posted a 20% rise in its first-quarter revenue to $1.88 billion, higher than average analysts' estimate of $1.84 billion. Palo Alto earlier this month announced its intention to buy Israeli startup Talon Cyber Security as it looks to beef up its cyber security offerings to enterprises.
