BYD has informed the Chinese regulator it is recalling nearly 97,000 electric vehicles (EVs) due to a manufacturing fault involving a steering control unit that could lead to fire risks, the market regulator said on Sunday. The Chinese automaker is recalling Dolphin and Yuan Plus EVs manufactured in China between November 2022 and December 2023, according to a statement from the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR). The company would ask its dealers to install a physical fix in the recalled cars, the SAMR statement added. Dolphin and Yuan Plus were BYD’s two top-selling models in 2023, which in total accounted for 26% of its three million cars sold in the year, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. It recalled a small batch of Tang plug-in hybrids in 2022 due to a defect in the battery pack that could cause fires.

Combs on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to each count: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. The lawsuit accuses Combs and other defendants of sex trafficking, human trafficking, sexual assault, gender-motivated violence, sexual harassment, gender discrimination and a hostile work environment. Diddy is not accused of sexual assault in the lawsuit but is included in allegations of liability and aiding and abetting. Lampros accuses Combs of four instances of sexual assault from the mid-1990s to the early-2000s. That list includes Vertiv , GE Vernova, Trane and Eaton , which Jim Cramer described as "all very clear winners" of the increased spending on the fast-growing technology. GE Vernova, for example, creates power solutions to help data centers operate in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way. That's because data centers require an immense amount of electricity usage to run properly, and that need is expected to intensify as more facilities are built. "That's almost a pure play on the data center," Cramer said of GE Vernova, describing shares as "one of the great horses of the year." It's a similar story for Trane, Vertiv and Eaton, which all sell products that service data centers.
