For the third straight year, Atherton, California, is the most expensive ZIP code in the U.S. to own a home. Near Stanford University, and home of tech executives and venture capitalists, Atherton has resisted development of multifamily properties, which has kept homes large and exclusive. In second place is Sagaponack, New York, an enclave of a few hundred residents in the Hamptons, followed by the posh Bel Air neighborhood in Los Angeles. Third place is perhaps the most famous ZIP code in the U.S.: 90210 — namesake of the '90s teen melodrama "Beverly Hills, 90210." Below are the 10 most expensive ZIP codes in the country, ranked by median home sale prices:

A former recruiter at the company even said, "It took very poor leadership and mismanagement to get us in this position." One told Insider that the 38-year-old CEO "clearly appeared emotional" while addressing his new, downsized lot.
One of the major differences between these apartments and a traditional lease is that residents are only responsible for their own room's rent — not the apartment as a whole. So if your roommate can't make a payment or decides to up and leave, it's not your problem. Hannah Towey/Insider

CNN —If you subscribe to the theory that Willie Mays was the greatest baseball player who ever lived, consider “Say Hey, Willie Mays!” additional ammunition for bar arguments, as well as a whole lot of fun. Those interviewed include Mays’ godson, Barry Bonds, and note that Mays played a pivotal role in bringing him to the Giants in 1993. Setting that aside, “Say Hey, Willie Mays!” is the kind of treat to help tide over baseball fans through the post-season, giving Mays his due while he’s still around to take a bow. It’s a gift for baseball fans who saw him play before he hung up that golden glove nearly 50 years ago, and maybe even more so, for those who didn’t. “Say Hey, Willie Mays!” premieres November 8 at 9 p.m.
It is very premature, in my view, to think about or be talking about pausing our rate hikes. The news sent those stocks reliant on China for growth — Starbucks, Estee Lauder and Wynn Resorts, among many others — higher. Or bad news could just be bad news if weak data signals a recession ahead. And good news could be good news: for example, if China reopens and U.S. companies exposed to the region see a boost in demand. Granda proceeded to have a long relationship with Becki Falwell, alleging that her husband was fully aware of the arrangement throughout, and endeavored to create real-estate opportunities for Granda in part to keep his wife happy. He admits that he was ambitious but basically over his head dealing with the older Falwells, while being bedazzled by their money and connections. Jerry Falwell resigned from Liberty in 2020, acknowledging Becki Falwell’s affair with Granda, while stating he was “not involved.” He also claimed that Granda had sought to blackmail the couple, a charge Granda has denied. “God Forbid” clearly provides Granda a friendly forum to tell his story, which includes how he came out on the other side of his 15 minutes of notoriety. “God Forbid: The Sex Scandal that Brought Down a Dynasty” premieres November 1 on Hulu.
IN THE 1963 MOVIE “The VIPs,” a well-heeled group of travelers, portrayed by an all-star cast featuring Richard Burton and a bejeweled Liz Taylor, gets stranded at a fogged-in London Heathrow Airport. But the flick’s real star is the airport lounge where the swells hole up. This was an era when airport lounges were posh simply because they were invitation-only. Today, lounges are ubiquitous, and you don’t need an engraved invitation to get in, just the right kind of ticket, paid membership or credit card. An estimated 3,000 lounges now populate major airports worldwide, according to LoungeReview.com.

Growing up as a gay Indian kid on the posh island of Key Biscayne, Fla., outside of Miami, Soman Chainani sensed he didn’t fit in. He felt alien among his mostly white peers, and overlooked by the Disney films he watched until he knew every frame. “I remember not seeing myself in anything,” he says over video from his home in Manhattan. He found in the grisly yarns of Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm a more nuanced appreciation of good, evil, luck and hubris. “I realized that fairy tales were meant to do something other than engender jealousy or resentment in those of us who don’t get the happy ending,” he says.

Related Group and its partners have closed on the last developable parcel of land on Fisher Island. Fisher Island, a seven-minute ferry ride south of Miami Beach that sits at the intersection of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, has long been the stomping ground of the elite. Wealthy people can be discreet about their mansions, but we know that Oprah, Julia Roberts, and Mel Brooks are former Fisher Island residents. The enclave has also won some superlatives: Bloomberg determined Fisher Island was America's wealthiest ZIP code in April 2018, with an average income of $2.5 million in 2015. Fisher Island made headlines in 2020 for nabbing COVID-19 antibody tests for all the residents of its about 800 homes in the early days of the pandemic.
