Over eight years after a Florida woman and her 8-year-old daughter went missing, the FBI has arrested the young girl's father in connection with their disappearance. Gustavo Castaño Restrepo, 55, was indicted for kidnapping resulting in death for the disappearance of his ex, Liliana Moreno, and the pair's daughter, Daniela, according to authorities. According to the FBI, Moreno and her daughter were last seen on May 30, 2016, in or near the Home Depot on Okeechobee Road in Hialeah. Detectives told NBC affiliate NBC6 that the day they went missing, Restrepo went to pick up Moreno and her daughter, and the couple got into an argument. Restrepo told detectives he then dropped the two off on Turnpike Avenue.

NEW YORK — A new lawsuit accuses Subway of “grossly misleading” customers by advertising sandwiches that contain at least three times more meat than it delivers. According to a proposed class action filed Monday in federal court in Brooklyn, Subway ads for its Steak & Cheese sandwich show layers of meat piled high, reaching about as high as the surrounding hero bread. In reality, according to several photos in the complaint, the fast-food chain’s sandwiches are far more bread than filling. CNN —Dwyane Wade’s status as a Miami Heat legend was further cemented on Sunday as the franchise unveiled an eight-foot statue of the three-time NBA champion. The 42-year-old played 16 seasons in the NBA and was selected as an All-Star 13 times before retiring in 2019. One comment on an Instagram video of the unveiling said that the statue better resembled Laurence Fishburne as ’Morpheus’ from the movie ‘The Matrix’ than Wade. Fans criticized the likeness of the statue although Wade himself didn't seem too bothered and was relishing the moment.
