Jennifer Guilbeault, 23, allegedly launched the “anti-Muslim” attack on July 31, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said in a news release Monday. A few minutes later the driver called 911 and Guilbeault was arrested at the scene. On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Nancy Brasel granted Trooper Ryan Londregan’s motion to dismiss the suit filed against him by the family of Ricky Cobb II. Brasel found that Londregan did not act unreasonably when he fired his weapon at Cobb as the man’s vehicle began moving forward with another state trooper partly inside. Cobb’s family filed its lawsuit in April accusing Londregan and Seide of excessive use of force and unreasonable search and seizure. Two men have been convicted of robbing an off-duty Secret Service agent at gunpoint after the agent had finished working at a Los Angeles fundraiser that President Joe Biden attended, prosecutors said Monday. INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man was convicted of murder Friday in the shooting deaths of five people, including family members and a pregnant woman who was nearly due to give birth, prosecutors said. A jury deliberated about three hours before finding Raymond Childs III guilty of six counts of murder in the killings, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office said. Childs, 21, was arrested a day after the January 2021 shooting inside an Indianapolis home.
