UAC, which oversees Russian aviation brands including Tupolev, Ilyushin and Sukhoi, said the plane will be capable of carrying up to 370 passengers, a capacity that would put it alongside the likes of Airbus’ A340 or Boeing’s 777. SEOUL, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Operations at Kia Corp's (000270.KS) assembly plant in South Korea have been suspended due to disruptions in parts supplies, the carmaker said on Wednesday. Poongki Industrial Co Ltd, a Kia supplier that makes chassis parts, suffered a fatal accident that resulted in the death of one worker on Tuesday and halted its own operations, causing supply disruptions at Kia's plant, a Kia spokesperson said. Labour authorities are investigating the accident, putting a halt to forklift truck operations at the Kia supplier's factory, a labour ministry spokesperson said. Kia is checking on alternative sources for Poongki's components, according to the Kia spokesperson. The plant located in the southwestern city of Gwangju produces about 2,000 vehicles a day, according to media reports.

Walgreens on Tuesday sent out a notice to staff announcing that annual bonuses would not be funded. Tuesday was the second day of a planned three-day series of scattered walkouts by Walgreens pharmacy staff. A Walgreens representative clarified to CNN that only managers were eligible for bonuses at pharmacies. “We are building on the company’s pharmacy strength and trusted brand to evolve healthcare delivery. Stefano Pessina, the former Walgreens CEO and current executive chair of the board, worth nearly $7 billion, made more than $8 million in compensation last year, according to Walgreens compensation filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

It's not too late for investors to ride along with MoonLake Immunotherapeutics despite the Swiss biotech having more than quadrupled in price this year, according to Stifel. Shares of MoonLake have soared 354% in 2023, but Stifel believes more gains lay ahead. MLTX YTD mountain MLTX YTD chart Analyst Alex Thompson believes MoonLake's sonelokimab drug, which targets diseases in dermatology and rheumatology, could eventually achieve $4.2 billion in U.S. revenue. The next trial readout for the drug is in psoriatic arthritis, with data expected in early November. "We view recent acquisitions in the TYK2 and TL1A space ($4-11B) as supportive of Strategics' interest/willingness to pay premiums in these markets," Stifel noted.

The training came as South Korea's military conducts a series of annual Hoguk autumn exercises aimed at improving responses to North Korea's nuclear and missile threats. The drills also mobilised various high-tech weapons systems aimed at beefing up future combat capabilities, with the troops wearing multiple integrated laser engagement systems (MILES), which uses lasers to simulate actual battle. Several drones were flown for reconnaissance purposes, some also firing an assault rifle, while South Korea dispatched a multipurpose unmanned vehicle to carry wounded personnel.
