None of the top five fantasy players coming into the season based on average draft position is in the top 48 in fantasy scoring. (The fantasy scoring numbers here are provided by TruMedia, and the average draft position statistics were compiled by Fantasy Pros.) Aaron Jones (15.7 fantasy ppg) has been a good pick but left early Sunday with a hip injury. The only bright spot for Las Vegas is rookie tight end Brock Bowers, who is 76th in fantasy scoring (13.3). Brian Thomas Jr. is 35th in fantasy scoring (16.2 ppg), which is second-best among rookie wide receivers behind only Malik Nabers.

Khosla Ventures was the first investor in OpenAI when it switched to a "capped-profit" model in 2018. When OpenAI switched from a non-profit to a "capped-profit" company in 2018, he put his money where his mouth was when Khosla Ventures stepped forward with the first check. While some notable earlier investors sat out this round, such as Sequoia Capital, sat out this round, Khosla Ventures doubled down. Elon Musk has a big task this week: convincing investors that Tesla is more than just a car company. It may do so once again as Elon Musk prepares to use the studio lot to tell another story: that Tesla is more than just a car company. The long-awaited event — originally scheduled for August — is meant to give weight to the electric vehicle maker's pitch that it is a tech company first and a car company second. Meanwhile, in July, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives claimed the "Tesla AI story could be worth $1 trillion-plus and is the most undervalued AI name." The AI bubble, Taylor said, will be similar to the dot-com bubble in the late 1990s. AdvertisementThe buzz surrounding AI may echo the exuberance and excesses of the dot-com bubble in the late 1990s, OpenAI chairman Bret Taylor said in a podcast that aired on Wednesday. "I think the AI bubble will rhyme with the dot-com bubble and I believe with the benefit of hindsight, most of the excess of the dot-com bubble might have been justified," Taylor added. Most of today's leading tech companies like Amazon and Google, Taylor said, were started during the dot-com bubble. From secondhand sellers to irregular packaging, here are the things I always look out for when shopping for perfume. Beware of secondhand sellers with large collections of expensive perfumesI suggest checking the seller's other listings to see if they have a suspiciously large collection.

MIT economist warns AI infrastructure investments may not meet investor profit expectations. Only 5% of jobs are likely to be significantly impacted by AI in the next decade, according to the economist. That's according to MIT Economist Daron Acemoglu, who told Bloomberg in an interview that the hype surrounding AI may not meet its lofty expectations. The most optimistic scenario, according to Acemoglue, is that AI hype cools and some applications of the technology take hold. In such a scenario, investors and tech executives would become disenchanted with AI, leading to a "AI spring followed by AI winter."

Microsoft on Tuesday announced a major update to Copilot, its AI system, that it says marks the first step toward creating an “AI companion” for users. The updated Copilot has new capabilities, including real-time voice interactions and the ability to interpret images and text on users’ screens. Copilot’s update also reflects Microsoft’s specific vision for how everyday people will use AI as the technology develops. Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman contends that people need AI to be more than a productivity tool, they need it to be a kind of digital friend. “I think in the future, the first thought you’re going to have is, ‘Hey, Copilot,’” Suleyman told CNN in an interview ahead of Tuesday’s announcement.
