In today’s edition, we preview tonight's showdown between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. A judge in Georgia on Monday ordered actor and singer Tyrese Gibson jailed over failure to make child support payments. Gibson, 45, owed $73,525.73 in child support, according to the order. Court documents in the case indicate he is legally appealing having to pay $10,690 per month in child support, which is the same amount Gibson was paying in child support for another child from another relationship, according to court records. "Mr. Gibson has chosen not to abide by the court’s child support order and he was held in willful contempt now for the third time," Gleklen said. "He only paid full child support three times in 20 months.”Less than 10 minutes after the judge ordered Gibson jailed, his attorneys appealed the decision, Gleklen said.

So DirecTV developed an unusual strategy: It’s paying customers to subscribe to a rival. Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates has spent the past couple decades warning the general public about ominous issues, from upcoming "climate disasters" to devastating cyberattacks. "A lot of unrest" in today's world could spark "a major war," he tells CNBC Make It. And even "if we avoid a big war ... then, yes, there will be another pandemic, most likely in the next 25 years." "The country that the world expected to lead and be the model fell short of those expectations," Gates says, referring to the United States. While some progress has been made, with increased spending on pandemic preparedness in the U.S. and elsewhere, Gates says the global response hasn't yet been enough.
