The United States announced it is sending an advanced anti-missile system and a number of troops to Israel, deepening America's involvement in the spiraling conflict as the region readies for Israeli retaliatory strikes against Iran. CNN —More than 60 people have been injured, several of them critically, in a drone attack in north-central Israel, according to first responders. Hezbollah said it had targeted the Golani Brigade, an infantry unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that has been deployed in southern Lebanon. The drone attack on Sunday comes two days after another attack in which the IDF said two drones were launched from Lebanon. The Emek Medical Center in northern Israel said it was treating four injured people. Zients also made clear that President Joe Biden had directed the Secret Service to provide the highest level of protection for Trump, the source said.
