CNN —A fired Disney employee allegedly hacked into the company’s servers to alter its restaurant menus, including falsifying allergen information and printing profane language, according to a federal criminal complaint filed in Florida. Disney identified and removed all altered menus before they were shipped to restaurants, according to the complaint. Michael Scheuer, who worked as a menu production manager for Disney, was fired in June for misconduct, according to the complaint. Scheuer allegedly hacked into Disney’s menu creation servers multiple times to manipulate and disrupt the menus, such as changing prices and adding profane language. CNN —If you’re a regular visitor to Walt Disney World, your annual passes are going to cost you more. The resort in Orlando, Florida, hiked prices on all four levels of its passes on Wednesday. Its most powerful annual pass, the Disney Incredi-Pass, now costs $1,549 (plus tax). “Over the past decade, Disney World tickets have increased up to 101% and the top-level Annual Pass has increased by 86%,” said Gavin Doyle, founder of MickeyVisit.com, in an email to CNN Travel. “I think of the standard prices from Disney World as the amount that only the most price-insensitive or those so set on being there for a specific event will end up paying.

New York CNN —The billionaires who control social media want to be clear about what’s OK to post online and what’s not. For X (formerly Twitter), just about anything goes, including neo-Nazi propaganda, crypto scams and porn (as long as it’s labeled properly). Anyone can do the same thing — Sweeney just made it slightly more convenient. It’s just not clear that Meta cares as much about its users’ privacy and wellbeing as it does about Zuckerberg’s.
