NEW YORK, Aug 29 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N) has increased its stake in Brazilian digital bank C6 to 46% from 40%, the banks said in a statement on Tuesday, without disclosing the financial terms. The banks said C6 had expanded its number of clients to 25 million from 8 million since June 2021, when JPMorgan bought its initial stake, and had added products such as auto loans. Sanoke Viswanathan, JPMorgan's CEO of international consumer banking, said the investment in C6 Bank was an important part of the lender's global strategy. The credit portfolio of C6 had increased to 40 billion reais ($8.2 billion) from 9.5 billion when JPMorgan first invested, according to the statement. C6 posted a 2.2 billion real loss last year, due to increased provisions for credit losses.

LONDON, Aug 29 (Reuters) - As the world's best badminton players travel home after the World Championships in Denmark, the sport's leading manufacturer Yonex (7906.T) told Reuters some of them were fighting it out for the first time in sneakers made partly from recycled materials. In addition to appeasing environmentally conscious shoppers, the companies argue that switching to recycled materials helps reduce waste and their reliance on finite resources. REUTERS/Giselda Vagnoni/File PhotoROME, Aug 5 (Reuters) - The Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) on Saturday gave its green light to reopen the main terminal at Sicily's Catania airport, a statement said, nearly three weeks after it was shut down due to a fire. "ENAC's order ... allows the airport to return immediately, as of this evening, to normal conditions," Sicilian regional governor Renato Schifani said in the statement published on the airport's website. Following the accident, the airport operated at reduced capacity through a smaller terminal, alongside which tent-like structures were built to help cope with the flows of passengers. The Catania airport is regularly used by tourists heading to places including the resort town of Taormina, which is about 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) away, and Siracusa, with its Greek Theatre.

WARSAW, July 29 (Reuters) - A group of a hundred soldiers from the Russian Wagner group have moved closer to the Belarusian city of Grodno near the Polish border, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Saturday. Earlier this month, Poland began moving more than 1,000 troops to the east of the country amid rising concerns that the presence of Wagner fighters in Belarus could lead to increased tension on its border. Most likely they (the Wagner personnel) will be disguised as the Belarusian border guard and help illegal migrants get to the Polish territory (and) destabilise Poland," Morawiecki said at a press conference in Gliwice, western Poland. "They will most likely try to enter Poland pretending to be illegal migrants and this poses additional threats," Morawiecki said. The following day, some Wagner fighters arrived at the training ground of the 38th airborne assault brigade outside the city of Brest, just a few miles from the Polish border.
