Campbell Soup could be poised to benefit from an uptick in GLP-1 drug usage, according to Bernstein. Among the 20 analysts covering Campbell, only five have a strong buy or buy rating, while 12 have a hold rating. In addition, the analyst anticipates that reduced chocolate consumption from GLP-1 intake may hinder U.S. chocolate volumes by 2% to 3%. "Unfortunately, chocolate category volumes remain stubbornly negative and Hershey's chocolate volumes also remain weak despite lapping easier and easier comparables in recent months," Howard continued. Meanwhile, only four have a strong buy or buy rating, and its average target of $202.14 implies a gain of about 5% ahead.

Paris, France Reuters —Fashion designer Hedi Slimane has left LVMH’s Celine brand, the company said on Wednesday, marking the latest high-profile departure from a fashion label as the industry grapples with a sales downturn. Rider, who will start his new job early next year, worked alongside former Celine designer Phoebe Philo at Celine for over a decade. Solca said Slimane had done well at the label, likely more than doubling brand revenue to around €2.5 billion ($2.76 billion). Slimane joined Celine in 2018, quickly making his mark at the historic fashion house with his distinctive rocker-chic aesthetic. In January, at LVMH’s annual results presentation, Arnault said that Celine was enjoying “great success” thanks to Slimane, and topping €2 billion in sales.

"While rescheduling has advanced, and if adopted it would mark the largest incremental step forward in federal cannabis reform to date, the fact remains that it is not completed." In late August, Trump departed from his usual stance that cannabis legalization should be left up to each individual state. "The fact that both Republican and Democratic Presidential candidates now support federal cannabis reform increases the probability that federal cannabis legalization is simply a matter of time," said Bernstein analyst Nadine Sarwat, in a recent note. However, while candidate support has boosted the market, Bernstein also noted that growth has been stagnant in the category as it faces macro headwinds. "Despite all the headlines regarding potential federal reform, state-level sales performance is sobering," Sarwat said.

CNBC's Jim Cramer on Monday told investors why he's optimistic about Starbucks , reviewing the bull and bear cases for the stock recently released by different analysts. "I think he's got such a great track record that he's more than earned the benefit of the doubt." The ailing coffee change announced a change of management last month, replacing CEO Laxman Narasimhan with former Chipotle CEO Brian Niccol. Starbucks saw sales decline over the past few quarters, and shares fell more than 20% during Narasimhan's time in the role, according to CNBC. Until the government's measures pan out, investment strategists are recommending a handful of oversold stocks in China. U.S. hedge fund billionaire David Tepper said Thursday on CNBC's " Squawk Box " that he bought more Chinese stocks after the change in China policy. That hedge fund allocation rose to 7.3% on Tuesday, which saw the largest single day purchases by hedge funds since March 2021, Rubner said.
