The Oct. 7 CNN report shows the collapse of the Palestine Tower, a large building in downtown Gaza City hosting media offices and residential apartments, after it was bombed by Israel the same day. Other news outlets covered the same incident, including Al Jazeera, which captured the moment live on-air. The 12-storey building was home to offices of the Associated Press and Al Jazeera and is a visibly different building to that of Palestine Tower. CNN did not reuse footage of the al-Jalaa attack in the TikTok report about the Palestine Tower.
