It cited rising costs in the market.

"Like most other vehicle classes, large pickups don't perform as well in the new moderate overlap evaluation as they do in the updated side test," said IIHS President David Harkey. IIHS said front seat safety has been boosted by improved airbags and advanced seat belts typically not available in the rear. The updated test uses a heavier barrier traveling at a higher speed to simulate the striking vehicle. In traffic crashes in 2021, 60% of pickup drivers who were killed were unrestrained - higher than other categories of vehicles.

The recall is specifically for the 29-ounce plastic bags of the product officially called Fully Cooked Fun Nuggets Breaded Shaped Chicken Patties, the FSIS said in a release. Approximately 29,819 pounds of the Fun Nuggets are impacted, according to the release. FSIS is urging anyone who might be keeping a bag of the Fun Nuggets in the freezer to throw them out and to avoid eating them.

Saving the jobs was a "historic victory" following a 13-day strike, the Sindmetal union said in a statement, adding that GM representatives will meet union leaders on Monday to confirm the decision.
