CNN —Lizzo has taken a rather silly reference to her on a recent “South Park” episode and elevated it to a hilarious Halloween costume. In her first picture, Lizzo posed in an old-school-style print ad that asked, “Need self love? Lose guilt, gain self confidence.” Her caption for the post read, “Ok Halloween… you can start now.”Subsequent posts included a video snippet showing Lizzo dancing in her costume in front of a cutout of “South Park” character Cartman, as audio from the show’s Ozempic episode played. “Lizzo helps you eat everything you want and keep physical activity to a minimum… Ask about the power of not giving a f**k, with Lizzo,” the commercial adds, along with a series of side effects. Lizzo has long advocated for body positivity and spoken out about the body shaming she faces on social media.

“Kamala is weak, dishonest, and dangerously liberal, and that’s why the American people will reject her on November 5th.”The Harris campaign declined to comment for this article. “Well, I’m clearly a woman,” Harris told NBC News in her interview Tuesday. Before becoming vice president, Harris was elected three times statewide in California, first as attorney general and then as a U.S. senator. Polling shows younger Black men, while still backing Harris overall, have shown historic interest in the Republican candidate this election cycle. “She’s not concerned about being the first,” the Harris campaign official said.

And on Thursday, Harris delivered an unscheduled speech focused on former Trump chief of staff John Kelly confirming Trump praised Adolf Hitler’s generals. The Harris campaign argues that the plan will tip some final undecided voters — a chunk of which are disaffected Republicans or independents. The Harris campaign says it is also focused on understanding what messaging could impact the small number of undecided voters that remain in key battleground states. “The two most motivating messages for Democratic turnout are those around abortion and democracy.”Some Harris campaign officials echoed that argument. Still, some Democrats who have worked with Harris worry there is too much focus on Trump and not on Harris’ unique skills and vision.

“We could fit into a phone booth, those of us who cared about election integrity,” Mitchell has said. Mitchell volunteered as a legal adviser to Trump in Georgia during his effort to overturn the 2020 election results. In 2022, tax filings show the Election Integrity Network brought in more than $750,000, largely from the Conservative Partnership Institute. Mitchell testified at a House Judiciary hearing, an appearance the Election Integrity Network turned into an advertisement. The bill’s failure was a blow, but far from fatal for Only Citizens Vote and the cottage industry of national MAGA groups that rally under the “election integrity” banner.

At least a dozen mail ballots were stolen, fraudulently filled out and submitted in Colorado for the Nov. 5 election, the Colorado secretary of state’s office said Thursday. Authorities said the ballots were mailed into the Mesa County election office via USPS, not returned in drop boxes. The secretary of state’s office said nearly all of the votes cast on the stolen ballots were stopped before they were counted. But three ballots were counted before election officials could pull them from the process because they passed signature verification. Mesa County has been home to election conspiracies in recent years, including by former Republican Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters, who was recently convicted in a 2021 security breach of the county’s election system.

Some of the remains found were of people who died in 2019, four years earlier, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. The Hallfords also admitted to Covid relief fraud of around $800,000, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. The funeral home where the remains were found was later demolished, NBC affiliate KUSA of Denver reported at the time. Doctors have long urged people ages 50 and older to get a yearly shot to protect against pneumonia. On Wednesday, an independent group of advisers to the CDC voted 14 to 1 to lower the age for routine pneumococcal vaccines to 50. “The peak in serious invasive pneumococcal infections occurs earlier in the Black population” at about 55 to 60, he said. According to the CDC, 1 in 6 older adults who get either pneumococcal bloodstream infections or pneumococcal meningitis will die from the disease. A quarter-million hospitalizations from pneumococcal pneumonia are estimated to occur every year in the United States, according to the CDC.

New York CNN —Listen up, corporate boards: If you’re looking for the biggest trend in leadership this fall, look no further. Corporate America’s hottest CEO pick is a classic model — the Middle Aged White Guy. Just 52 businesses in the 2024 Fortune 500 ranking were run by women, holding flat from the year before. Obviously, White Guy CEO never went out of fashion — women have rarely represented more than 10% of Fortune 500 companies. But a rash of recent leadership shakeups illustrates the enduring power of the White Guy as a kind of capsule wardrobe for corporate leadership.

He also found that women will comprise nearly 52% of all eligible voters, which should help Harris. (North Carolina is the sole swing state where he found that they had increased as a portion of eligible voters since 2020.) The groups that Harris needs to give her winning margins are the non-White and college-educated White voters (especially women in each case). “I think Gen Z women, including White women, are very committed to an inclusive democracy,” she said. But this history clearly shows it is likely that the changes in the composition of the eligible electorate Frey has documented will closely track the shifts in the configuration of the actual electorate.

What's more, many pharmacies serve as a convenient destination for all sorts of essentials, from aspirin to mascara. Big chains like Walgreens and CVS make their money in two main ways: selling prescriptions in the back of their stores and selling everyday goods out front. As Walgreens and CVS stores have proliferated over the past decade or so, many of their locations are basically right on top of each other. On the other end of the business, pharmacies are expensive to run. In the current landscape of commoditized pharmacies, there's no such thing as personalized service.

As recently as 2005, more than half of all automobiles on the road were painted a color other than black, white, silver, or gray. Today, less than 20% of vehicles listed in our database of 1.7 million cars are a color other than black, white, silver, or gray. "Simplifying the production process — with fewer trim options and fewer paint options — is always going to be a winner." Today, car colors are going the way of checked airline bags — you pay extra for something you used to get free. Offering fewer options to average car buyers — and more to the wealthy — enables automakers to bask in the color they care about most: green.

He said a Harris administration "will build on existing programs, increasing federal spending to make health care more affordable for people." Still, Socal said a Trump administration wouldn't have much flexibility to dismantle or scale back the law without change from Congress. The IRA extended enhanced subsidies that made ACA health plans more affordable for millions of households through 2025 — a provision Harris plans to make permanent if elected, her campaign said.
