As solana reported hack, after hack, bitcoin didn't really change. Wall Street is also decking the coin with all its familiar trappings like exchange-traded fund wrappers and allowing traders to hedge positions and make leveraged bets. In January, spot bitcoin ETFs began trading, which opened the door to more mainstream investors. Last week, options on those spot crypto products finally started to go live on the Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange. CBOE Global Markets is also set to list its first cash-settled bitcoin ETF options on Dec. 2.

There's one key reason the U.S. stock market rallied after this month's presidential election, and it wasn't necessarily because of the outcome, according to Dan Clifton of Strategas. "What we saw was that the market was pricing in a 50-50 election. [Investors] didn't know who was going to win," Clifton, the firm's head of Washington policy research, told CNBC's Dominic Chu in this special Pro Talks discussion available to all readers. Instead, "we had it very clear … we knew [President-elect Donald Trump] was going to win," he said. (Pro subscribers can watch the full interview here .)

Don't share your job search journeyWhen you're job searching, I'd heavily advise against documenting your journey. AdvertisementA South Korean man was given a one-year suspended sentence for evading military service. This is just the latest example of South Korean men going to extreme lengths to try to avoid serving. A South Korean man was found guilty of evading military service by deliberately putting on weight. While most South Korean men are expected to serve for at least a year and a half, shortly after finishing high school, the conscription law has a number of exceptions. This was the most common method in attempting to evade military service, with the second most common being faking a mental illness, with others falsely registering as disabled, and one internationally breaking a bone.

[END TAPE]KRISTEN WELKER:According to the Washington Post, President-elect Trump plans to fire the team that worked with the special counsel. So, I think President Trump is picking reformers for these Cabinet positions. After the midterms Joe Biden said that there was no way President Trump would ever be back in the White House.
